I have a vintage roland space echo (re-201) and a mxr carbon copy. I love those two units with guitar because of how grimey they get, and because the space echo is just crazy. But I've started playing an analog synth and they darken up it's tone a bit more than I'd like. Figured I'd try a digital delay to see if that cleaned things up. The Time Space did the trick surprisingly well and was much better than expected for the $30 paid for it. The repeats are very clear but it decays just as naturally as my others. It doesn't sound sterile or noisy like most digi-delays I've tried in the past. Easy to get huge pillow like textures and it self oscillates easily and predictably. I'm impressed! --Also, I got this 2 days after I ordered with Prime. All around sweet deal.

It's a little noisy and it is really more of an echo than a delay, but it's pretty decent for the price. The Amazon ad says digital delay, but the unit itself says echo delay and that is actually more accurate. The difference some of you ask...? A digital delay is supposed to repeat the sound exactly as it came in. An echo will add a little "dirt" to the repeated signal mimicking the old tape delays. The sound of an echo degrades with each repeat. Well... this is more of an echo. It's ok though. It's not a studio effect obviously, but if you put in the effects loops of your amp (it does not like being in the front) It is perfectly usable.

Delay pedal that does what it says - and you can make it feed as well. Easy on the noise, and with a sturdy metal case. Only drawback is it's thirst for batteries ... The first I ordered drained the battery real quick - and never worked again. I contacted Tomtop, and they gave GREAT customer support - and happily agreed to send me a new one, without having to send the old one back! (return is the normal way, but would be more expensive than byuing another one). The new one works well! Thanks Tomtop! :)

it is great for what i use it for - that is dropping at the end of a chain to color the tone properly for distortion/overdrive the gain on it's own sounds good too- I would give it 5 stars if it was a little cleaner - you can't really bump the level w/o getting a little grit - which has pluses and minuses but overall worth the purchase
