Does this come with the current sensing ring?

  • Not sure what you're asking, but the meter measures the currant amp flow when the feed wire is run through the body of the meter.

Does this require it's own power supply, or does it take it's power from the line it's testing?

      A year ago, I bought the line 24/7 and put it two meters away. They all work well. They are accurate and easy to read.

      Excellent equipment It is desirable to have wires with current through their internal current loops, this is not a clamp or screw terminal unit! With a resolution of 0.1A, it looks quite accurate.

      I have good feelings about this meter. I didn't use it to measure Amps, my purpose was only looking at voltage, and in both instances it was 2volts off from what both my fluke and sperry meter were measuring.
