      The headband fits well but have not had chance to try the light yet as the unit does not come with any batteries. On lower magnification it is very good, however on X8 and above you have to hold the item about 30 to 40 mm from the lens for it to focus.

      This hands free magnifier is perfect for assembly and inspection of electronic systems. I use it at low binocular magnification so I am not sure how the high magnification compares but for my assembly/soldering work this is indispensable.

      I sometimes do silly things involving very small and fiddly bits and pieces and inevitably there are times when I just can't see what I am doing in sufficient detail. I have tried a variety of things, usually with magnifying glasses taped to whatever can be found to support them, but with a new hobby interest needing lots of intricate soldering, I felt the need to find a better way. A pair of watchmaker's spectacles was purchased. This contraption allowed for magnifications of 30x or so with flip up lenses attached to a spectacle frame. It was a complete disaster as the magnification necessitated a very short focal length which proved totally impractical for what I wanted to do. I have to say that I have been very impressed. The range of lenses provided allows for a wide variety of magnifications, and more importantly focal lengths. With this magnifier I can happily set up a 2 x or 3 x combination which will allow me to work at a reasonable distance from my eyes. Whilst not the most comfortable device to strap to ones forehead, it is surprisingly tolerable for even extended periods of work. If you need to see better, you could do a lot worse than this tool.

      Works well with several magnification levels available. You need to have the work piece close so more ideal for extreme close up detail work.

      Arrived well packed, item as described and I am very happy with it. various lenses allow to see even tiny things well. Light working well. All in all for the price it is excellent. Would recommend.

      Amazing value for money. Has twice been invaluable in the re-soldering of very fine wires in the two months since purchase. It does 'stay put' when in use, unlike a jeweller's loupe purchased for similar work.

      This is a great piece of kit for the occasional user and at a bargain price . As my eye sight is not what it was , this has helped me soldering tiny wires onto a pcb plus loads of other stuff . The box, although lightweight keeps all the various lenses together . I doubt its robust enough for constant use in a commercial environment but for my DIY bits its paid for itself over and over . Love it !

      Was sceptical at first when I ordered but when item arrived found it to be well made, comfortable to wear and has lots of lenses, fantastic addition of the led light, which is surprisingly bright.
