    I live in Florida and have a pool that isn't screened in. I always seem to be battling the yellow algae that tends to cling to the pool floor and walls. This brush-vacuum head works well to brush the algae and simultaneously vacuum it up so the water stays clear.

    The vacuum looks small and simple when you first take out of its package but it is very effective for the maintenance of my 10 ft above-ground pool. The package comes with everything you need and the assembly was easy it took me less than 5 minute. It has a connect that attaches and detaches fast and easy. It works well as it sucked up all of the leaves, debris, and pollen inside the pool that I use often.

    I bought this vacuum head to replace the old-style rolling one I'd been using, and for the most part I'm very pleased. I have a kidney-shaped pool with rounded stairs, and the shape of this vacuum makes it much easier to get those curved surfaces clean. I also like the fact that it has brushes around the edge instead of wheels, so you can brush the bottom of the pool as you vacuum instead of changing to a brush attachment and doing the two tasks separately.

    I much prefer the "half moon" shape because it gets up against the edges better than the ones with straight edges.
