This stone is just plain amazing. I have many stones from different parts of the world - so many that I have given some to family members. I have ordinary stones, ceramic, diamond, steels, course grit to super fine. This stone is beautiful and perfectly cut emerald. The edge it produces is nothing short of phenomenal. That said, please be careful and learn how to use it properly. It may be the best stone for the price that I own; and I own some expensive stones. Like the other reviewer, I will have to make a protective wooden box. May even order another to give to my grandson. If you want something special at a reasonable price, get this stone.
