I'm not sure what you would call easy but you have to put a little muscle into it. But mine goes fine. I am 67 and I push it everywhere. It is one of the best investments in a cart I have made. If the surface gives me a little trouble I pull instead of pushing and that works.

Yes it rolls on carpeting very easily. I have a long carpeted hallway in my condo building and it's fine.

You should be able to. However, I would recommend a standard furniture dolly as they are a little more maneuverable.

I just took a look at mine and it's glued on pretty well. If you need another surface I'd likely just glue it on top of the existing mat.

Really like this little platform dolly. I carried a huge box containing an unassembled futon claiming to weight 78 lbs but seemed like 300 lbs, and although the box was huge, this little doobie helped me get an otherwise heavyweight up to my apartment, since UPS left it at the apartment door. I'm really impressed, nice gliding wheels. Hope I don't have to use it for other oversized boxes, but I'm happy that it didn't collapse under the 1/3 of the weight capacity. (Cuz I was worried that it would having such a large box (1/2 the size of a 7' wide futon box)....It's a little workhorse. Kinda wish it had two shelves but I'll never move again without this or something like it. All you do is step on the bar at the bottom of the handle and it folds down so it won't take up much room to store it in the closet and it isn't so heavy that you can't even lift it, like a review said about the 660 lb capacity dolly. I like it! Happy to have it!

Been using it for 3 months now. Regular use in apt complex for moving stuff around. 8 of 10 stars on construction quality. Smooth, well working wheels. One side is fixed wheel, one side is steerable. Great solution for moving 3-4 five gal water jugs in/out of apartment. I use a bungee chord to hold them on platform as they overhang a bit. Not a problem at all. Happy with my purchase.

I am in the process of major renovations of my home and will be putting it on the market in the spring. I have had to pack boxes and boxes of things. I also am finding the need to move items for donation. So this cart has already gotten quite a workout. PROS easy to assemble [just attach wheels] good large surface area to stack boxes and larger items stable when pushing it with heavy items on it handle at good height for easy pushing handle securely locked in upright position when needed handle folds down when not in use wheels are good size so easy to push on different surfaces even when loaded with many boxes of books CONS only back wheels swivel making a learning curve for maneuvering This was definitely worth the price. The construction appears to be quite sturdy. As I said above, It was carrying a number of heavy boxes filled with books and no problem.
