I wish I could rate this product higher because I really wanted to like it but, unfortunately, it just isn't a favorite of mine. The instructions are less clear for me than other kits due to a language issue (Chinese perhaps?). But my main issues are as follows: 1) The imprinted chart is right up against the edge of the design on the far right, so I'm not sure how you'd be able to frame it as a set of panels (as shown in the photos). Yes, you could soak/wash the fabric to remove the chart, but it would also remove the pre-printed light green background color from that part of the design. To me, that is a problem as the background colors are an integral part of this lovely design (the background colors are shown in the design photos). Also, the chart would only be helpful if you left the panel intact (as one full piece). I hope they rework this kit so that the color chart is much further from the edge of the design. 2) The kit arrives with nicely stitched edges but it is one piece of fabric. If you want to create 4 separate panels (as shown in some of the illustration photos), you need to cut the fabric and stitch/bind the edges yourself. Not a terribly difficult problem, but it would be nice if the kit arrived in 4 separate panels with stitched edges and without the color chart being so close to the actual design.. I wound up returning my kit because, while it is lovely, these issues were complications for me. I did contact the company and they confirmed that trying to remove the chart from the fabric by soaking/washing will also remove the color from the background which is part of the design. The resulting stitched piece would only slightly resemble that shown in the photo.

My mom really likes it. Comes with needles, sorted thread, and a guide. Also is printed on white. She said that was important and yelled at me to include it. Read your measurements! It is big, but the main pic is misleading. Still great. The thread actually feels like good quality too.

I kept expectations low given the price point and was very pleasantly surprised with this kit. It is larger than I anticipated (again based on price - who is actually expecting a kit project the dimensions of a full size couch for $16?), the colors are bright and it looks great! My understanding of the pattern is that stitching only goes on the tree trunk, branches and "leaves;" the background already has the color printed on it. I may toy with filling in the background as well, but I will address that after completing as directed. Size and color represented in photo - that is a standard legal pad and CD by the canvas for size reference.

This was a gift I bought for someone else, but from the response I received I would have to say that this is a superb item. This avid cross stitcher did say it would take quite a while to finish, but that it would look fantastic and frameable once complete. They also thought it was fantastic that the linen itself was color coded so that it would be easier to follow the pattern (as it came in a language foreign to them, Chinese I believe). It also came with all the yarn necessary which would make for easier completion of this work

I love this kit because it provided all materials (needles, embroidery ribbon, and design), the colors, and the price! It helps that I knew how to cross-stitch without many directions, as this kit seemed to be lacking. The size is much larger than I expected, but I am happy to have something that can hang over a larger area. Very happy with my purchase.
