There is no direct correlation to lb/test ratings as different types of line from different manufacturers will have different diameters. You'll need to find out what the diameter of the line you wish to use on the reel is and if it's close to the 0.26mm-0.30mm rating. For example I'm using a braided line that's 30lb test with a diameter of 0.23mm on this reel so it'll hold a little less than 200 meters or 218 yards of that size. I also have a different color 40lb braided line that's 0.32mm that I could use instead if I want to (though I use the 30lb because of it's color). In that case I would expect it to hold maybe 95m or 103 yards of line. Of the brand of line I'm using the 100lb test is 0.6mm, or almost double of the 0.3mm rating, meaning if you were to use it you would only get 55m or 65 yards on the reel but would likely have problems with casting and reeling since it's twice as big as the highest rating on the reel. But if you found a line rated at 100lb that had a diameter close to the reel's rating, there's no reason why that wouldn't work... Using the rating above and knowing the diameter of the line you intend to use will allow you to estimate how much line it'll hold. I doubt that you could find a 100lb test line with a diameter small enough to work with this reel. see less
