A few years ago, I bought a more expensive and more complex "professional" multimeter because my husband thought he would really like to upgrade to his basic model many years ago. Well, no. Neither of us is an electrical engineer. It seems that every time he needs to test the continuity of a power supply or socket, he cannot get the correct settings to provide him with accurate readings. This has led to countless utter curses and loud questions about "Why Does it not tell me whether it has power?" Okay. Lessons learned. Buy this as a Christmas gift. You would think he bought a new car. To be honest, I think he was playing with this book, reading the manual from start to finish, paying more attention to it than anything else. The best part is that since then, every time he has to use it, he will look for something that can use it, and he said, "This is perfect."

Because the price looks quite sturdy, there is a rubber protective cover. I think if you have a high demand for these devices, and spend a few dollars, you can find more rugged devices, but as long as you spend a few dollars less (and maybe some more costly), there are definitely some devices that won’t Withstand so much physical stress or abuse. The accompanying user manual is written in a concise and easy-to-understand manner. It is easier to read digital readings than the analog meter I bought a few years ago; you don't have to decipher which needle marks give the measurement; for casual users like me, this is a big deal. As mentioned earlier, my old unit is one that I estimate is quite fragile. But be sure to read the manual unless you are really sure what you are doing. There are many things you might not do right, which can cause problems. The Etkcity is completely suitable for non-professional and light-duty use; I believe it is good for some professional applications, but it is not so, I can't really say this. This is a great price and I received it earlier than the expected delivery date.

I have purchased 3 digital multimeters for use as a volunteer in the science summer camp for intercity children in grades 4-6. In the experiment, the students made a super battery and checked the voltage when adding the battery. In another experiment, they made an LED flashlight powered by pennies and zinc washers. The multimeter works normally because of its large voltage range. By tracking each component of the super battery, the continuity feature is particularly helpful in showing students where the problem is. The meter is very sturdy and the reading is clear. They added a lot of content to the experiment. I would recommend them without reservation.

Over the years, I have used many different multimeters, and the price of this one is exactly around $10. Appeared in a nice box and packaging, as well as some plastic block tips. I originally bought another meter for the battery tester, this one was used for this purpose, and of course there are more. The display is very easy to read and clear. The unit itself feels sturdy and has a nice enclosure. The dial clicks easily. It comes with the required batteries already installed, so it's ready. As far as accuracy is concerned, I have only tested it on a few things, but it seems to read it correctly, and other users have more detailed reports, which sounds promising. In terms of price, this one is definitely worth it.

Solid product. The appearance and feel are durable. Very easy to use, and the accuracy is also very good. I use this device to check the temperature sensor of my oven. The reading is 1102 ohms, which is very close to the 1100 ohm oven sensor I recommend. Start with the lowest reading (200 ohms) on the multimeter and gradually increase if necessary. I started with the 200 ohm setting and there was no reading, so I increased to the next level, which was 2000 ohms, and the multimeter immediately read 1102 ohms. If you are checking an oven temperature sensor like mine, hold the sensor tightly in your hand and you can see the number on the multimeter gradually increase because your body temperature has been transferred to the sensor, so you know it is still working. This multimeter is useful for checking things at home, such as fuses, AC and DC power outlets, and batteries. . . Hope this information is helpful to you.
