Things I didn't like: The measurements are in metric, I think and measure in SAE in the USA. It also came with no directions on how to assemble and ALL of the writing on the box is in chinese pictograms so I could not get any clues from the writing on the box on how to assemble as I do not read chinese writing at all. It turned out those were very small issues as I usually put things together without the directions anyway, and the box does have pictures on the final assembly which were clues on how to put it together. Also the shapes in the plastic allow only one way to assemble the device and to put the parts together, so this makes it easy to figure out once you understand that each type and size of screw and nut can only go in one spot and no where else, so it ends up being a small puzzle and took me 20 minutes to figure out correctly. What I did like: Once you have it assembled there's one more thing you have to figure out and thats don't set the plastic guide assembly that slides on the edge of the sheetrock too tightly onto the sheetrock, if its too tight it becomes hard to push the device straight for a perfectly straight cut. after a couple of practice passes, however, you get incredibly straight cuts. And you can cut an 8 or 12 foot sheet in as long as it takes you to twist two set screws to the correct length and then walk past the sheetrock. And I mean seconds to cut and get perfect straight cuts every time. I had to re sheetrock my entire basement after a mold issue where we decided to just pull out all the sheetrock and switch to the green mold resistant stuff, 90 sheets in all. Once I got my groove going it took about 1/2 the time to cut with this tool compared to setting up the sheetrock, scoring one side and then cracking it at the score mark and cutting through the other sides paper. This tool significantly reduced time and frustration by scoring both sides of the sheet at once and quickly allowed me to make perfect cuts every time, and to be done after one pass compared to using a utility knife and a t square. Some tips: It should take you almost no effort to glide across the sheetrock and score it. If there is resistance than you have one of two things too tight. You have either extended the blades out too long and they are digging too deep which can also make you cut crooked due to the added drag of the blade, solve this by reducing how far they poke out. Or you have pushed the plastic guide down too tight onto the sheetrock and then wrenched the set screws too tightly onto the vertical guide rods that hold the blade. loosen the set screw and just give the plastic sheetrock guide a wiggle. it should move with next to no effort because of the bearings you installed when assembling it. Once you get this just right you will literally cut a sheet of 12 foot rock in a second and a half perfectly and be ready to install it. I wish I would have had this ten years ago when we rebuilt my fathers house after a storm, he had severe storm damage and we had to re sheetrock every wall and all the ceilings and it took a lot of work. This would have made that month just a little bit less frustrating. I am very very happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone doing DIY sheetrock home improvement project. If they improved one thing I highly recommend the manufacturer have Inches marked down the guide rods in addition to the CM for sales in the USA. But that was easy to over-come by marking the sheetrock where I wanted the cut to start and then setting the unit to that exact height, and then quickly making the cut.
