Not sure...I would think not to use on glass..but I didn't try it on glass...maybe try using it on a test piece of glass to see how it works.

In my opinion masonry bits work much better with a hammer drill, but it probably depends on what you're trying to drill into. I've never had any luck using a masonry bit on concrete without a hammer drill, for example, but can easily drill holes into ceramic tiles with a regular drill.
