I'm currently running 6x R9 390's off this PSU and it's happy at 1800W and 240V. I think you'll be fine with those 5x high-powered cards but no more. At this rate of consumption, I would highly recommend 240V. Unit will turn on with 110-120 but you'll be doubling the amperage. I purchased 3 of these units. One never worked (dead on arrival). The other 2 burned up after 15 or so minutes on an 8-card rig. I now use a 2nd power supply to power 4 cards, and have this PSU power the other 4 cards. It's happy now. 110v works. You do have to supply your own cord though.
