This is a very good microscope that can be easily used on a desktop. The device is equipped with a separate stand, and you can choose to use it as a handheld device or use it with the stand. The photos are good. If you use the computer's webcam software, you can use it immediately without installing any software. You only need to switch the software camera device drop-down selector from webcam to microscope (GL USB2.0 UVC camera device), and there are additional software and drivers for other applications and operating systems on the supplier's website. This is a good school microscope: junior high school and above science projects or homework.

I was taken aback by this camera. First of all, my laptop is plug and play. All I have to do is plug in the USB, turn on the camera, and then I can start using it-no need to download software. Second, the picture quality is very good! We test it on a variety of different objects, including clothes, food, and other surfaces. You have to experiment with the placement of the camera at different magnifications, but don't be too troublesome. Third, the camera has a built-in light, so you can easily see anything even at the highest magnification. Overall, this is a great portable microscope. I plan to use it not only at home with my kids (toddlers), but also in my high school science class.

I bought this because I need something with enough magnification to read the registration number of the microcontroller. This puppy is a home run! Its image quality is much better than I expected. The bracket provided can be used occasionally, but regular use may require a better bracket. I am not a young man and almost need to read the scope of the manual. I did find that only one measurement program for Windows 10 was included. (Oops!-I use Win7 and Linux) A calibration standard is also included, allowing you to set the pixel value for the zoom you are using. In addition, it also provides what you can view when you get it for the first time. I read about an adjustment in another review that would allow a larger focal length, but it did not succeed. Bottom line: I highly recommend this microscope/endoscope. This is not a sales bait.

I have a laboratory microscope in my office, but I am always looking for something small and light when I travel. This camera works very well. I had to unscrew the plastic end piece with full magnification to get the camera close enough to focus. But the image is very clear. I also like that the LED lights can be dimmed, which is very useful when trying to view reflective surfaces. I just plugged in the laptop and it worked immediately. I am using Win10 system and I am using the camera application. Because my needs are simple, I didn't mess up other application options. I will either share the image via a video call or take a screenshot of the image. The camera is small and easy to carry. I definitely recommend people like me who work on small electronic products.

I don't know what the real magnification of this oscilloscope is, but it is pretty good. The best thing is that it can display pictures on your computer, so you can capture them on a picture I need. You can hardly find a microscope that allows you to take pictures of what you see anywhere near this price. I use it to look at electronic products, it has enough magnification. The only real issue is the position. When it works, adjusting it will cause it to move, so this is a pain. A good position will make this really good. If you want to look at things like gearms, I don't think this is a good choice, but for coins, stamps, electronics, etc., it is a very good choice.
