What is the minimum hole diameter that this bar can fit into?

  • Have not tried these yet. Looks like the smallest bar could fit into a 5/16" hole.

      Cheap on the price but seem to cut steel just fine, no problems yet although only used for a few projects so far but haven't chipped any carbide yet. Good for getting you started on the lathe.

      I bought these this carbide insert kit for my Taig micro mini lathe and they work great. I have cut copper and stainless steel with no issus. If you want to take the time they can be sharpened on a diamond lapping plate.

      each bar was packaged individually in a plastic bag, inside of a plastic box with its own key. extra carbide tips, and everything looks solid. will update after using a few times. so far, very impressed.
