I'm new to metal detection and I ordered this one because of its capabilities. I used it for the first time this weekend. I found it easy to assemble and use. These controls are very easy to use. It picked up a number of items, including 15 pull tabs, 3 nickels, 5 quarters, 2 dimes, 6 cents and a very small silver-plated or steel ring. Headphones make it more practical. They are comfortable. The instructions were easy to follow and gave me several options for calibrating the detector. The case is light, but contains everything you need to bring. The unit itself folds nicely into a handbag. I bought this mainly to help me find gold in riverbeds and stuff. Since it does so well in the park, I can't wait to try it along the river. I highly recommend this unit to anyone interested in learning about metal detection.

I've always wanted one of these so decided to splurge on our beach vacation. I don't know what to expect and how to use it. I found assembly and setup to be simple, and thanks to the manual and other suggestions, we got it right easily. I don't know what these will tell you when you get hit with items like pennies, quarters or even gold. I'm not rich yet, but it's fun to find some little darlings while exercising. I'm a little concerned that this might lead to an expensive hobby because now my husband wants his own.

I'm a beginner at best when it comes to metal detectors, but the last detectors I had were not as good at detecting anything a few inches below the ground. With this metal detector, I can detect almost a foot of ground. Not to mention, it's completely waterproof and able to find things on the shores of lakes and small river banks near my house. Surprisingly, this is far more accurate than I thought. What I found was big for an antique spoon, but few things were bigger but as small as a small piece of gold I found later. I like the accuracy of this detector, it's not so heavy that it feels like my arm is about to fall off. The sound is clear, especially when it detects something, and if you don't turn the volume down, it gets pretty clear.

I bought this to replace one of my old detectors, it's pretty basic and basic, it's a nice upgrade. Assembly takes only a few minutes and the size/length is adjustable to suit short, tall, young and old. It comes with earphones, a small shovel with a carrying case, and a large bag where everything fits easily. I live in the northeast so I can't detect until spring, but I tested it in the snow with different coins, rings, nails, etc. in a small area and it detected everything it should have . The settings allow you to differentiate between metals, and I can't wait to put it to practical use. For the price, I am very happy with this detector.

We're addicted to watching people use metal detectors on YouTube (especially aquachigger and nuggetnoggin) so my oldest son must have one. We bought him a cheap o that looks like a RadioShack product from the 70s. It works, but we can't just share the experience with one person. This is my own choice and I've had a great time so far. It has three modes - Full Metal, Full Coin and Precious Coin. I put it on all the coins to knock some lead and nails off our ground. So far, it's doing pretty well. I mean. I only found a quarter in the front yard, but at least that's it. We're taking this to a crystal dig site this weekend and I'm sure people have left some valuables there. Can't wait to see what we can find together! nicely put together. Definitely an upgrade from the one I was in my 20s, which was a higher-end model. pinpointer is actually a huge help. I heard a scream (when I found the coin) but couldn't find its exact location. Using the pinpointer function, I found it was right on the edge of the hole I made. Otherwise I would never have found it. I'm impressed with its quality, battery life and accessories. Shovels and bags are really good for this kind of gear. Great for beginners and intermediate users. I think I belong to at least one of those categories. Ha ha. It's interesting.

I bought it based on comparison. At first, I was skeptical about performance until I bumped up the sensitivity a bit and put it aside. I put quarters, corners and fifths on the grass. I do get false indications due to my increased sensitivity, but they are not as repeatable as the manual mentions. When I turned the coil over and over on each coin, it correctly recognized the value. The trick is to swing the coil level and repeat it a few times to indicate a real thing! Things I like - light weight - nice carrying bag with earphones and shovel - good detection and visual indicators instead of simple gauges - good owner's manual - free extended warranty after purchase - it's in In the package, you can register what I don't like - it won't turn on, so maybe not very kid friendly - you'll have to use it according to your environment. It's easy to adjust once you read the manual. All in all, at this point, I would buy again. I can't wait to go to the beach and try more!

I bought this underground metal detector for my boyfriend's birthday. He quickly flipped through the instructions, put it together, and went out to play. It wasn't long before he got home and excitedly showed me an old faded coin he found in 12 inches of dirt! He thought it would take a while to learn how to use it, but it proved to be very user-friendly. The next day we took it to the beach and it turned out to be harder there. Metal detectors are able to detect some items, but digging through wet sand is not an easy task. If you've ever tried to dig a hole in the beach, you know how I'm talking about how sand and water keep filling up and sabotaging your efforts. Knowing the accuracy of his discoveries so far, he excitedly scours YouTube for videos sharing tips on how to dig for treasure on the beach. We plan to get another one eventually so we can play together.

I've used it on beaches, bays, mountains, backyards and creeks. I love this metal detector for me, it detects metal objects 18 inches underground. It can detect even very small objects - when a different angle is needed to detect different slopes in flight, the bottom coil is easily adjusted with a simple touch of a foot - it lasts a long time with just two 9v batteries - Detecting metal objects in creeks while hovering over a few inches of water - on the beach I adjusted the sensitivity to 4 or 5 bar to avoid constant false hits due to sand saturation and possible sea salinity. I haven't figured out if/how I can detect objects if the coil is actually submerged in water - this machine works great. Just needs a little practice. I highly recommend buying a separate small handheld pinpointer to go with this metal detector (this will help you save a lot of time and find those smaller objects before giving up.) I love this and use it every week. a great hobby. I'm glad that after reading many reviews, I chose this one. The price is good and I guess it does the same thing as some pricier products.

If you want to get into the metal detection hobby, there are plenty of options. After reading countless reviews, I decided to buy this product because I felt it gave me the best bang for the buck with the shovel and carrying case included. After using the product a few times, I am very happy that I chose this one. It does everything it says, works perfectly, and the instructions are very detailed. It's super easy to assemble, lightweight, has a stunning screen, and has a nice depth to its price range. I highly recommend this metal detector and you will be happy to buy it.

This is a gift I gave to my teenage son so we can enjoy exploring the beach and the outdoors in a new way. It's very easy to set up and use. Also very accurate. My leg was blown up. It detected the difference between the shrapnel and the steel plate, as well as the screws holding my legs together. It's interesting to see how this metal makes a difference. The higher the shrapnel, the detonation of detectors in airports and courts. This is also what they found with their wands. Found both, tell me what kind of metal I'm looking at.

Note that my review is based on the use case for which I purchased it. My rating is based on a single experience, not a comparison with competitors. I need to find property markers for a house I just bought in order to build a fence, and I want to try it out before spending more on a professional investigation. It's a more cost-effective approach, and it ends up doing well enough. I might decide to use it more later to find buried goodies, but I didn't think about it when I bought it. After the on-time delivery, I assembled the detector. It's easy to do and only takes a few minutes. The length is adjustable so it's easy to find the most comfortable position. I put the battery in and started searching. I have no experience with detection, so I set the sensitivity to max and didn't set any metal recognition. This may cost me some time as I keep hearing the beeps and start digging up the post I think is buried there. I'm a little frustrated because I found what looked like I hit the target and digged, and found nothing. I fully believe this is the user's fault, not the detector's fault. After about an hour, I gave up and went back to the house to read the manual. I found the stake buried in the ground in about five minutes. With the detector seated on it, I can watch the signal bar to find the maximum level and get the target right in the middle of the coil. The next day I used it in the backyard and found a nail about three inches deep, so it's sure to find metal objects buried in the ground. I'm sure with a little more practice and adjustment you can find a lot. Since I'm so glad I saved a few hundred dollars with this, I give it full marks.

I've been working on this and it takes some practice, but now it's finding deeper than 2 inches. You just need to read it carefully and take note of the email and the instructions for sending it. The company is very helpful and willing to work with you if you have questions. ***** New to the "art" hobby of metal detection, this one is reasonably priced. My son and I regularly go to the beach and the playground on the sand, and I think what a fun way to find pirate treasure. This is not for those who want to go out and find gold, coins or precious metals right away. Using it takes some practice and skill, and you need to know how to follow the directions. That being said, the instructions are fine, just be careful, you really need to know what you're doing to adjust the controls. I enjoyed the adventure so much that I followed the indoor setup instructions to get started to understand the depth of this probing. I ventured to the local beach and used some real silver coins and random change. I'm not ready to use my gold ring yet lol. I've found that the detector can only "read" treasure no more than an inch or two below the surface, and I'm still tweaking the settings so that after further attempts. My advice to you is to wrap your practice treasure in a lightweight plastic ziplock bag while you practice laying down these techniques so you don't loose it. I love that this set comes with a treasure shovel, a carrying case and headphones. I've added photos and videos to show how the settings match the instructions. My only real problem is that it doesn't come with the required (2) 9 volt batteries, and most people don't keep them handy. I also wish it would read a little deeper than an inch or two in the sand.

Very cool detector for beginners. My husband and I found it easy to use after watching some tutorials on YouTube. We have found something. Pinpointing is very accurate. It comes with headphones, a travel case and a small shovel. We usually keep it in the truck when we notice a place that looks good for a search. Overall, it's a great tool and a great way to try new things and get out there. If you want to try metal detection for the first time, do it! The reward for finding cool stuff is like a mini treasure hunt.

This metal detector is very easy to assemble, good quality and has a large screen, I love that you can adjust the height, if you are tall like me, most metal detectors are short and the armrests are comfortable and useful! The shovel is small and convenient! I like this model of metal detector because it is very modern and high end and not cheap at all. Headphones are very handy if you want more privacy, or if you're going where it's loud. I definitely recommend you won't be disappointed, it has everything you need! Happy treasure hunt!

It also comes with a tote bag...the metal detector fits best in a tote bag when the middle pole is detached. Everything including earphones and shovels fit into a handbag, no problem cool! ! ! This metal detector is very light enough to keep my son from getting tired for hours of searching, but so far he has only searched in a few nearby fields and a few people's backyards. When we went to California, he was excited to find more areas, including beaches! We tested metal detectors on some gold and silver coins. and how it reacts to steel. The detector is awesome and works great! ! Seriously, it only takes a few minutes to figure out how to use it properly. If you have any questions, if you have any questions, I suggest you read the instructions and if you need help finding out if this metal detector detects the metal you want. All the tests we have done with this metal detector have been very effective and have been a lot of fun finding gold in our backyard and around the house. I assembled this product in 10 minutes and quickly read the manual, noting the range for each metal. It can be used without headphones if you are not in a very loud environment. The higher the pitch, the greater the range. It goes from iron to metal, like a quarter, with a pull tab indication, like on a soda can, although it's really just a general indication. I found an old Coke bottle cap and the ends of some metal cans, both of which were 4 inches deep. Although these are not "great finds", they are still fun and I look forward to exploring my yard further.
