Unlike others have said the smd headphone jacks are quite sturdy and have locating pins on the bottom. This isn’t audiophile grade stuff but it works great if you simply want to make something louder. When I first put it together all I had was an adjustable buzz... So after hours of troubleshooting it was simply because I was using a 4 contact 3.5mm cable, after switching to a normal 3 contact one it worked perfectly!
