Questions & Answers
Looks to be around 1.975 inches at a glance with some calipers, but the tollerance is fairly sloppy on mine. I can't get to the machine screw due to the way it's installed on mine, but I believe it's metric. If no one else answers in a day or so, I'll try to disassemble and give full specs.

Thanks for your asking,of course,It can remove the water from the Thermoelectric Peltier Cooler and the assembly still hold together.
By Sayuri Ootomo on May 3, 2018
It is definitely possible but you have to make sure the hot side doesn't get too hot or it could damage the peltier plate. Maybe a voltage limiter or something in conjunction with the water block.
By Ross James on May 9, 2018
You could, but it probably would not be cold enough, and peltiers are extreamly inafficient (about 5% of the power is actually used to heat/cool it) if you want to know w it works, watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Kp_yWY2tdU and skip to 1:25 (or just watch the whole thing)

The TEC however will need many Amperes (I think you will need up to 10) and you need to make sure that you can regulate the current. So you need a regulating power supply with 12V and 10A. Hope this helps. see less

Well I think it could cool better then it did for us. We built a rather bigger fridge then we should have. If you kept the dimensions within what it’s specified for it should work good. Our daughter won the science fair with it so not so bad.

All the parts to get started including thermal grease. No Assembly instructions, but assembly was easy. Nothing fragile. Small Phillips head screwdriver is the only tool needed. Fan could be bigger and more powerful. Ran everything on 12v at 3 amps from BMOUO 12V 30A DC power supplyFelt plenty of cold or heat. Just loosen the screws and flip the TEC over. Never reverse voltage or current. Fan wires have connector, TEC 12706 does not have a connector. Just wire with solder or "tinned" Also the fan wires are a different length. Recommend 12 year olds and up as the TEC can get pretty hot pretty fast. Good for school, learning or just fun.
