I bought a new laptop and there was no SD card slot. I do photography as a hobby and having a device that loads my SD cards was a must. This loaded my documents fast and looks really sleek on the side of my laptop. It looks like it was built in. I would recommend this to others.

Since Apple introduced the new MacBook’s with only one type C port I was facing some issues with my new laptop, such like connecting my external hard drive or SD card reader. Due these featured being really important and essential regarding my job, I was looking for a solution for this problem. After I’ve done a research and reading many reviews online, I decided to buy this Thunderbolt 3 USB-C Hub from dodocool. It came in a luxury box. User manual was also included, well written, easy and understandable language even for not too tech-savvy people, full with illustration about how to use it. The hub itself is made from aluminium, same as the MacBook, stunning built from quality materials, it feels like it’s part of the apple product family, but way cheaper then a similar gadget from the Apple Store. With this awesome gadget now I can connect my SD card or external HDD even while I’m simultaneously charging too my MacBook. Didn't require any setup whatsoever; worked properly right away, when I took out of the box. There is five port located on this HUB to serve all your needs; Two Type C (DC IN) for charging the laptop, Two high speed 3.0 USB port, one SD and also one micro SD card reader. I had no speed transfer issues since I’m using this, not even when playing back a 4K video from a flash drive. I’m really happy with this Type-C Hub, saved me so much headache of how to connect my regular USB data gadgets to my new MacBook. Now I can connect my old style printer too, which has not featured with wireless connection, only USB. Well worth the money I paid for it. . If you are looking for a well designed, multipurpose, and highly portable USB Type C hub then this is the one you need!

Laptops are getting thinner every day... and losing their USB ports. Now I do prefer USB C but all of my peripherals are still USB, so when I need to plug in a thumb drive or mouse to my Macbook I don't have many options. I've seen other hubs before which worked pretty well, but the thing I like about this one is that it acts almost like an attachment to the original laptop. Easy to carry around with you

This is the one device that every user of the new Apple MacBook Pro should have. All ports work well for me(Thunderbolt 3, USB C, USB A, Micro SD and SD memory card slots), and receives power from the MacBook Pro via the Hub Adapter, have no worries about the charging issue when using the port to access your data. The Hub matches the space grey MacBook Pro color. It is speedy, and everything that I have thrown at it worked extremely well. I can't recommend this product enough. Buy it and you will love it too...

This 6-in 1 USB C hub has many ports, such as thunderbolt3 port , USB-C 3.0 port, dual USB 3.0 ports, a 3.0 SD and Micro SD card slot, expand the Type-C ports. When I use this hub, it is quite easy to transmit and read large files via this. It is also easy to use this hub. There is no need to install any drive software, just plug and use. The hub itself is made by good quality alloy, looks nice and it is sturdy.

This is a nice little adapter that gives you back 2 USB ports as well as a SD and micro SD card slot since they were removed from the current 2016 MacBook. It also retains 2 USB-C ports, where one is used for charging the MacBook and the other for data transfers (the charging port is indicated with a lightning bolt symbol). The device slots in quite easily to the 2 USB-C ports on the MacBook and looks quite smart with colours complementing each other nicely. There is no need to configure the adapter and the ports/slots are useable straight after being plugged in. Similarly, the adapter is easy to remove with little effort. I had no issues with this adapter and it worked well with any device I plugged in the USB ports and SD/micro SD cards in the slots. Overall, a very well designed and nice looking device.

The device is very professionally presented and the shipping was very quick too. A well-written manual instruction is included in the box to fully understand all the features this adapter has to offer. The product is well made from good quality materials and feels truly durable. Simple to use worked straight out of the box. No additional driver or software needed, my computer recognized it straight away. The transfer speed is absolutely brilliant and did not experience any problems so far with the hub. The price is absolutely reasonable compared to the quality. Highly recommended brand and product!

The design of this adapter makes it look like it is part of the MacBook. It blends in really well, not only with the colour but with the design of the product. This adapter allows me to get a lot more out of my MacBook by allowing me to expand my two USB-C ports into 6 ports. Even though this adapter requires both USB C ports on your MacBook, you get two USB C ports on the adapter to replace it. All of the ports operate very quick, and the USB ports are USB 3.0 specification. Inside the package, you also get a nice carrying bag for the adaptor to protect it whilst travelling. The dodocool brand has yet again delivered. I own a number of dodocool products and have never been let down. My only wish would be for the price to be slightly reduced. It is an essential product for a MacBook user.

To Start off this review for the Dodocool Dual USB-C Hub, I would like to say how unique the design and for the intuitive compact build and for the price I would recommend. Pros: + Fits Macbook Pro 13 & 15 inch perfectly + Quality of the aluminium design + LED light ensures the adapter is on + solid feel + Vast amount of ports available + Power Delivery support + Compact design Cons: - Could Include a HDMI port, however I could imagine the hub would be mush bigger Overall great build. For the Macbook Pro I would really recommend! Easy to set up and easy to use. Ports work 100% at 100% of the time.

Works great with my new MacBook. It saved me money having to buy all these ports separately. It is very small and compact and comes in a cute brown leather carry case, and hardly takes up any space on my work desk.. I would recommend this product to anyone who is interested on a multi port system which is fast and reliable without cluttering the work space. It is very powerful, and can simultaneously cope with various equipment such as, mobile phone charging, computer data transmission, video output, and so on. It has all the ports that I ever need. It does a very good job operating multiple devices simultaneously without any lag or over heating issues.

The build of this hub is brilliant. It has an aluminium body that roughly matches the space grey macbook color. It feels sturdy and premium too! The USB 3.0 ports work very well and so does the SD card reader. It's great for extending the ports on your macbook and it's brilliant value for money (much better than the official Apple adapter) and offers more ports than other adapters too!

Absolutely fantastic sleek design. When I ordered this product I thought it would be much bigger than it was. However, the product was small and compact. High quality and sturdy. I thought a dream had come true. For my new MacBook Pro this was exactly what I needed to carry out full functionality for all of my adaptations. The connection speeds are awesome and there is no noticeable lag between the command and the response. The setup was incredibly efficient and the product arrived in good time and sturdy packaging. A perfect product.

When I purchased my Mac I had no idea that it came with USB-C ports. But with this hub, I can have several things plugged in at once. I love the fact that this hub plugs into both USB-C ports. It looks clean and it's not heavy at all.The card reader on here is great! It recognizes my card and works very quickly, I always use card readers but this one is awesome. I recommend it to all the people that need to plug their devices into their mac, like me.

This USB hub is very well built and designed for MacBook Pro with two USB 3 port, SD card reader and two thunderbolt 3. It is power strip of USB connection which provides multiple connections to several devices. It is compact yet very convenient and efficient. You can hardly tell that it is not part of MacBook.

So, I'm pretty excited about this product. When I purchased my Mac I had no idea that it came with USB-C ports. After discovering tis I had to find adapters so that I could plug my USB devices into my laptop. This creates a lot of extra steps, there's more things poking out of my laptop, and they would often fall out. Plus, I could only have one thing plugged in if I am connected to the power. But with this hub I can have several things plugged in at once. I love the fact that this hub plugs into both USB-C ports. It looks clean and it is sturdy. I haven't had an chords fall out yet! I am also a photography so I am always using a card reader. The card reader on here is fantastic! It recognizes my card immediately and works quickly. Overall, this is a great hub to have that solves a lot of issues with having USB-C ports on the new Mac laptops. I highly recommend it!

we use the Hub to connect a ChromeBook to the TV or projector in order to stream pictures and share memories from holidays on family occasions. This hub is not only fast and hassle free, but also has a professional and well made look. It comes with a convenient case suitable for travel and storage. I like it as it is compatible with multiple devices. My husband tried it once with his MacBook and connected it with a samsung smartphone in order to transfer data. He prefers to use direct connection rather then online services. Premium build quality being made out of aluminium which has the same finish as Apple products, so it will blend in with your Apple device. The hub gives your MacBook the ports back which are missing from the newer models, you have two USB 3.0 ports which are backwards compatible with USB 2.0, you also have a USB type-C port which can be used for USB type-C devices or for providing power to your MacBook and you can use this hub to also connect your MacBook into your network by a network cable. I found that the file transfer and network speeds were very good, which helps with the speeds is the short thick cable which is supplied because it provides minimal voltage drop to the USB hub, which means you get good speeds when it comes to file transfers. The other side of the USB hub has a HDMI port to plug your MacBook into a TV, the HDMI port will also provide sound over HDMI and a VGA port to plug your laptop into a monitor. The case is also a nice addition since you’re most likely going to be traveling with this USB hub, transporting it with your laptop, so the case helps to protect the USB hub from scratches. When I first opened the product, I was flabbergasted by the quality of the item. It’s beautifully presented in black, leather zip wallet, which adds quality to the product. The inside of the wallet is a soft material which shows the attention to detail in wanting to make a high quality product. The hub is well made in aluminium, and feels extremely premium, it really compliments my MacBook. The hub comes with 2 x USB 3.0 Ports, an Ethernet port, a charging port, a HDMI port and a VGA port. The Cable is the perfect length for my new MacBook as I don’t not want loads of excess cable lying around. The logo on the top is barely visible, making the hub look clean, but even if you do notice the logo, it does not spoil the effect and still looks great to go with the finish of the hub. The USB-C Port is very smart as it also allows for charging of your MacBook whilst having multiple devices connected. This really is a clever feature and, with the single port on the MacBook, you would be unable to do this. There is nothing to not like about this product. It has been designed and implemented to very high standards! You can feel the quality in this product and see the hard work that has gone into producing it. Overall i’m happy with the quality of this USB hub and the performance, it worked without any issues and it was completely plug and play, which makes it very user friendly.

I bought silver and it pretty much perfectly matches the colour of my MacBook.
