Overview
dodocool 7-in-1 USB-C Hub is an ideal solution for laptops and other devices with an available USB-C port or Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) port. It enables you to charge your MacBook Pro, MacBook, Google Chromebook Pixel or other USB Power Delivery supported Type-C devices with their original charger while simultaneously streaming videos up to 4K UHD (3840 by 2160) to your TV, monitor or projector and transferring files through the USB 3.0 ports and memory card slots.

7-in-1 USB-C Hub
Extend one USB Power Delivery Type-C charging port, one HD output port, three SuperSpeed USB 3.0 ports, one SD memory card slot and one TF memory card slot from one USB-C port or Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) port.

3 SuperSpeed USB 3.0 Ports
3 SuperSpeed USB 3.0 ports allow you to simultaneously connect up to three USB-A peripherals (e.g. keyboards, mice, speakers or thumb drives) to a USB-C laptop and transfer data at up to 5 Gbps. Backward compatible with USB 2.0 and USB 1.1.

Power Delivery USB-C Port
Connect to a USB-C power adapter and charge the connected Power Delivery enabled USB-C laptop via its Type-C charging port while connecting multiple peripherals and transferring data.

4K Video HD Output Adapter
Enable you to mirror or extend the display of your laptop to your HDTV, monitor or projector in up to 4K UHD (3840 by 2160) resolution through the HD output port. Backward compatible with 2K/1080p/720p/480p/360p resolutions.

SD/TF Card Reader
Enable you to easily access files from either an SD card or a TF card on your USB-C laptop.

Stylish and Portable
Thin, lightweight and compact design with the aluminum alloy exterior makes this hub a great travel companion. Easily slide it into your pocket, bag or suitcase.

No driver required. Plug and play. Support hot swapping function.

Note:
1. Make sure that the host USB-C port on your device complies with the USB 3.0/USB 3.1 specification. Not compatible with USB 2.0 Type-C devices. 
2. To use the HD output port, the host USB-C port from your device must support DisplayPort Alt Mode.
3. To use the Power Delivery function to power and charge a connected USB-C laptop, the host USB-C port from your device must support USB Power Delivery. The USB-C input charging port can't be used for data transmission.
4. Please do not rely on the USB-A ports for charging your phones, tablets or other devices. The three USB 3.0 Type-A ports on the hub support a total output of up to 5V 900mA.
5. For a stable connection, do not use this hub with high-power devices. It supports one hard drive max.
6. NOT support charging for HP laptops and tablets via the PD USB-C charging port.
7. NOT compatible with Samsung tablets and ASUS Zenbook UX330UA.
8. Charging Power Delivery enabled Dell USB-C laptops via the PD USB-C charging port requires using your 55W or above original power adapter.
9. The SD card slot and the TF card slot can't be used at the same time.

Tips:
Here are 4 ways to help reduce the USB 3.0 radio frequency interference to the wireless connection of some laptops:
Option 1: Connect the laptop to a 5GHz Wi-Fi network.
Option 2: Connect devices (e.g., mouse, keyboard and hard disk drive) to USB 2.0 ports on the laptop.
Option 3: Connect the USB 3.0 hub to the laptop with a high-quality 1-foot or longer USB 3.0 extension cable. Keep USB 3.0 devices away from the host computer.
Option 4: Use high-quality shielded USB 3.0 devices/cables/connectors.

  • yes, but please know, if your power adapter is 30w, then the output watts is 30w, if your power adapter is 100w, then the output watts is 100w, if you want the full speed charging, I recommend you use your original power adapter.

      I really like this product. Very nice for its portability. The USB-C port works perfectly with my new macbook pro. My macbook has only 128 gig of space, so I added an additional 128 gig SD card to this device. The data transfer is perfect. Thank God, this device arrives on time. Now, I don't have to worry about my macbook without other slots besides usb-c. My Samsung 4k TV is very easy to use with my macbook through the hdmi port of this device.

      This is a great product, using multiple interfaces that I didn't use at the beginning, because my Apple computer is being repaired, but finally getting it to prove it becomes a useful tool for good weight and decent quality.

      Great adapter, very worth the price. The only wish is to have a second USB C and Ethernet port. I am pretty sure that the same company works with those companies.

      Very nice little hub, with many different ports. Very good speed and reliability. Two small complaints: 1. Even with nothing hooked to it, it gets pretty warm just sitting there. 2. The cable wired to the box is about 2" too short, so it hangs from the back of my iMac, not able to lie down on the desk surface.

      This is a nice little USB C Hub, that comes with most ports you’ll need on a day to day basis. It is really well made and offers flexibility to use with multiple devices. Also, because it doesn’t fit snug along side your device, you don’t have to worry about knocking it and snapping the connectors off in your laptop. The device also allows you to charge your and the USB C can be inserted in any direction and still offers full functionality (no need to mess about switching the cable because you inserted it upside down!) The cable itself is also robust at the USB C end, which means there’s enough flex and reinforcement that it doesn’t put much pressure on, and hopefully means it will last a long time.

      "The device works perfect for me. It's small, light and very thin. Metal solid construction, exactly as my MacBook. In a world where the USB 2.0/3.0 is still remaining for many devices such as pendrives, external hard drives. Most of the brands started to migrate their products to USB Type C. I'm not very fan of using the micro-sd card slots, but I have to accept that a person that uses a MacBook for editing pictures and/or videos this device will be even more useful. The university where I work has some meeting rooms with only HDMI port (no DVI or VGA), and I have recommended this device to some of my colleagues. There is not much more to say about this hub. It's perfect for my bag pocket and it does the job perfectly. Therefore I provide this item with 5 stars.

      This hub works well for my 2017 macbook pro. I had issues with some other hubs and connecting to my Dell Ultrawide screen, this hub however I had no issues. Personally I'd prefer to attach a normal USB C lead to the hub so I coukd choose how close or far the hub is from my laptop.

      I don’t really have a need for this at the moment but I plan on getting a projector in the future so I tried it with on my 55” tv and it worked flawlessly. Would recommend.

      This adapter allows you to connect a USB C type port to an HDMI input. It also has 3 USB 3.0 ports and sd card reader. It is well made with firm connection points, which enable efficient data transfer to my various devices.

      This item was delivered in a sturdy box, so would make a great item to wrap up as a gift. It has an Usb c lead attached to it, and 3 hi speed usb 3.0 ports as well as an sd and micro sd card reader. Metal fronted with a plastic base, it’s very lightweight and feels like a quality item. Brushed silver in colour, so should be fingerprint resistant. The 3 usb 3.0 ports are nicely spaced out, so should accommodate even the bulkiest of plugs. I have a Chuwi HI8 tablet, which only has one usb c input, so this item is a god send to me. I can confirm the power delivery pass through charging works with this device/tablet combo, and the ability to have 3 usb ports can be invaluable when using the windows partition of the tablet. A quality product, and with the added options of card readers and high speed usb as well as power delivery, this hub is very useful. Thank you for taking the time to read my review.       My wife purchase a new Lenovo laptop. The specifications are great and it was the size she was looking for, however it had limited port availability. More ports would have been better but due to its build it does not have. She needed additional USB ports and also required a card reader for her camera. After researching other options I decided on this hub. This hub is great and it had everything she was looking for and also came with video and charge ports (added bonus). The usb data transfer performance seems excellent on the USB and card reader. The device itself seems very well made and looks like it is built to last. Overall I am quite happy with the purchase.

      I made the mistake of purchasing a less expensive USB C hub which only lasted a few weeks. However This hub feels well built and the USB C connector seats very well into my Mac. Highly recommend.

      This little device is for apple macbook pros and allows you to plug multiple devices into your laptop, it accepts different cards, and converts a USB-C port into standard USB. This hub is small, and very easy to carry around with you.
