This finally resolved the "not enough USB controller resources" errors that I had. I went through countless USB hubs, powered or unpowered and finally I got this addon card, plugged in the hub to this and now every device is plugged in without complaints. Would totally recommend!

Works great with OSX or Linux. Keep in mind that it won't be recognized during motherboard/system boot. I use it transfer videos, music, photos, data files between USB devices and the computer with a super speed. And the most convenient is the item have a type c port that I can use my phone and no need to buy another USB adapter.

I have received this for a review days before. Now I have used this with my computer. It works well: The package includes: 1 * dodocool USB 3.1 Type-C & Type-A 2-Port PCI Express (PCI-E) Card 2 * Screws 1 * Installation CD 1 * Instruction Manual (English) Very easy to install. I am running Windows 8. I was worried I might have trouble with drivers. But no needs to worry about it. Really easy to install and start to use. (Of course, if any problems, you can turn to the manual.) I am very pleased with the USB 3.1 port, which gives me much faster speed to transfer pictures, videos to my desktop. I can not express this, but if you need, you can buy one to have a try.

Well made PCI-Express card that does exactly what it was sold as. As long as it is hooked up to power, it charges and transfers my phone and other USB-C devices at very fast speeds. (Note: Some USB-C cables do not support fast charging or data transfer, so always check the cables before checking for issues with this card.)
