No idea where to buy just the charger. If you buy a new one then you'll have two lamps and one charger for both. A WIN WIN. Hope this helps.

NOt really sure, I keep mine plugged in most days. I find it on all night quite often, and often not plugged in to charge. I don't think it has ever "not" turned on. I bought it to see my keyboard, vs buying a light up keyboard, it is a really nice wand light.

yes, it's Powered by the built-in 1100 mAh rechargeable lithium battery. A single charging supports up to 4 hours of continuous lighting at the highest brightness or up to 174 hours of continuous lighting at the lowest brightness.

it is a daylight color 4000K and is very bright of sit's size, a very good little light and the magnetic stand really makes it useful and flexible for positioning. not sure about the lumen output

The USB cable can be plugged into a laptop or a smart phone USB charger that comes with your smart phone. Again, this light does not come with the AC to USB charger-you must either supply that or use a laptop or desktop computer to charge the light. Also note, the battery will only last a few hours, probably less at higher intensity setting. So want you charge it, you want to use it sparingly which should allow you to go a couple of weeks before needing to charge again. If you don't want to rely on the battery, you should separately purchase a USB wall adapter to use on it full-time. Or else, you can share a smart phone USB adapter that came with your smart phone. Or as I said, plug it into a laptop or desktop computer for charging. Charge time is about four hours. see less

Kind of a strange little light. My son complained of not enough light in our living room on the couch to do homework so I purchased this light since it appeared to be portable and battery operated. It is rather tricky to turn off and on: putting a finger or thumb over an area and holding it until it turns off. Otherwise, I suppose it works well. Very bright but has 3 brightness settings. I did receive this product at a discounted price through Jump Send.

The light itself is longer than I imagined it would be, and when at the brightest setting it is a bit harsh if you have the LED’s in direct eyesight. But easily remedied by adjusting the pivot of the light. The connector does fit tight on the light. It wants to be pushed onto the light, not slid on. A little bit of thumb power will pry it off when wanting to reposition it. The base offers 2 positions that don’t require mounting. That works for desktop or for tasks really well. But with some imagination, some metal, Command Strips, or the included adhesive mount, this thing can be mounted just about anywhere in a multitude of positions for a multitude of lighting needs. Accent lighting is one great use for this light. I bought two of these. I went to Home Depot and picked up a long thin metal strip and some Command Strips and stuck the metal strip under my desktop shelving which gives me some great ambient lighting when on my computer. It is easily mounted, repositioned, and plugs into my usb hub. Very cool. The other one has already come in handy as a task light. When I turned the power off in the bathroom for some outlet work, I first grabbed my flashlight and quickly realized how difficult it was to focus the light on what I was doing. Then it dawned on me to grab this light and viola, instant ample light where I needed it. Very happy customer.

I thought I received a lemon as it did not turn on by following the instructions. The instructions say for turn on/off: "touch the top of the lamp body". However, it did not work! Finally, by trial and error, I touched the small hole on the side and it functions as on/off. The lamp turned on while the small hole is touched. The instructions do not mention the small hole on the side! And after I touched the small hole, the top of the lamp body started to response. It seems like an initialization process required to make this works. I don't know exactly if this is the sequence for getting this to work. But it is confusing! Now, after this initialization process, I can turn this lamp on/off by touching the top of the lamp OR touching the small hole. It is kind of strange.

As for the function of this lamp I really like it. I can see it's multiple uses not just a desk lamp. Decent as a flashlight and lightweight. Most likely will buy another. The reason I gave it four stars was the lack of decent instructions. They only give you a parts list but I like having step by step instructions on how to put it together. I was able to figure it out by reading the comments from other buyers. I still don't know what that screw was for, and the package also had a couple of velcro oval disks with double sided 3M tape. I'm not sure how useful they would be because if you applied them to the bottom of the clamp to stick on somewhere it would be on the bottom of the clamp permanently and you would have to use the second disk on the lamp base instead of using the magnets on the clamp to attach to the lamp base.

Excellent minimalistic. The touch control is great. The learning curve for changing the brightness up or down or on and off is good. Cons include not providing a USB AC adapter (you have to provide that or used included cord to plug it into a computer for charging). The cord has USB at 1 AM and then a special barrel connector at the other in to charge the lamp. It would be nice if the lamp Jack was a mini or micro USB instead of the barrel connector. This way you have large numbers of existing USB cables in case the original gets lost. Despite that, the battery holds a pretty decent charge. I have used it, on average, about 20 minutes per night as I'm going to bed. With a 30% brightness level on average, the battery can last up to two weeks before requiring a recharge. I paid half of the normal price during a sale. At that price point, this was a superb purchase. If I had paid full price, it would be a very good to excellent purchase. Great product!
