I have not had the chance to write a proper review, but if I were you I would return it for a full refund. It's very nice from an aesthetic and presentation standpoint but the functionality of it is awful. One of the several issues I am having is the same with the battery depleting while charging and in use.

I know the life proof case I had there was a clear window in the middle back of the phone. I always figured it had something to do with wireless charging. That was with an s6. I don't know if the s7 case is the same way.

Yes. You can. However, the adhesive for the base mount is weak. Does not secure the unit as well as it should.

it worked ok on my vent , i do not know about every vent style made by every manufacturer , slide open the spring load clip and insert and let go of the spring . it was that easy for me

yes, but I do not recommend you do that, because it will affect wireless charge. For optimal performance, take off your protective cover and place your device in the proper location on the wireless charger.

You will have to use the adapter that comes with the s8 in order to use this charger...

Suction cup with excellent grip, the nn ok phone holder has no vibration when driving. The phone charge is very fast: tried with LG G3 and Samsung S8, navigator started all day and continuous "disconnections" of the mobile phone from the support ... 100% charge in a very short time. What to say: fully satisfied.

installed on the van with the suction cup, adheres well, recharges quickly without giving me overheating problems, the only flaw if we want is that leaving the lateral supports open, in the sense not all closed but at the distance of your phone but without the phone these moving vibrate, I I solved by jamming and then locking the brackets with some rubber.

since I installed the charger I have not had a problem yet, get in the car support and recharge if you use the app as a navigator and you have the cell at 100%, it stays that way and the charge (blue light) does not activate energy needed by the app. without discharging the battery and all with its cover.

The Qi Wireless Charger is very good, charges every time, great build quality. The only thing is that the hinge is very big which is fine if it's stuck on the window but if you put it onto the air vent then it does stick out somewhat which means it almost gets in the way of the controls and buttons on the dash.

A very well made product that charges my Samsung Galaxy S6 phone FAST!! It doesn't matter if I'm in my car or at the office, this charger works FLAWLESSLY!! In my car it fits securely, attached to one of my vents. At the office it's secured to my desk with it's suction cup bottom. It's very versatile and is very EASY to use. I HIGHLY recommend this wireless charger!!

Very easy! The clamps on the holder are adjustable so it is compatible to most size of phones. There's a release button at the top of the holder. Now basically that is all I figured out and I think this is a great product and I know this will make my bestie very happy.I purchased this car mount charger to my bestie as she always moaning that there's no place for her phone in the car and she keeps the phone between her legs while she's driving. She just bought a new phone, Samsung Galaxy S8 or something like that, I'm an iPhone fan so don't know much about other phones. This car mount comes in decent packaging and looks very professional so it will make a great present. I opened it and had a look and little try as I wanted to know if it's in a perfect condition before I post it to her as she lives abroad so it will be quite a hassle to send it back and such. As you can it comes undone and it needs to be put together. Here's what's in the box : - wireless charger which is also the phone holder - car air vent mount - car suction mount for dashboard - USB cable - cigarette lighter socket - user manual - warranty card - some spare parts It supports fast wireless charging and standard wireless charging. (Apple should figure out the way for the iPhones to get them charged wireless tho...just a bit off topic idea) So you can place this mount onto the vent or onto the dashboard which is quite clever as every car is different and it gives you the options.

This works. I am only using the sand up base and it's in the console and not on the dash. Why in the console and not on the dash, well I'll tell you: the suction cup on the bottom is a slightly sticky and incorporates a neoprene layer, which if you've ever lived in Texas means these will disintegrate in the Texas summer if left on the dash. Eventually be they Texas summer will win but at least there it wont cook quite so quickly. As for the feel of the stand itself, it is rock solid. The clips seem pretty sturdy too. The charger seems a bit slow, I'm using an S7, so I don't know if that's the limiting factor. But the charing keeps up with maps, which is the reason I got it.

It attaches to the dashboard well. When running Google maps on a Galaxy S6 it does not increase the battery charge but will keep it at the same level through the trip. I will start a trip at 86%, drive for an hour with Google maps running and the phone will stay at 86% the whole trip.

This has a very secure fixing and comes with all wires and fixings required. Charges really well and works with my SatNav app. It doesn't charge it very fast - more of a trickle charge and when using SatNav - tends to charge very slowly. Only had it a day - so can't comment on durability. Based on my limited usage - I would recommend.

The overall build quality is very solid and the extendable grips on the sides and bottom feel nice and smooth. The dual mounting of adhesive and suction clamp is very rigid and feels very stable. The package also comes with an optional AC vent mount which features a nice spring loaded assembly up top and an extended plastic piece on the bottom for additional stability. It's decent enough but I've never really liked AC vent mounts since they never feel as stable. Also included is a nice long micro-USB cable which is actually solid and higher quality than the usual ones included with products like these. And lastly, a USB car charger is included. As for the wireless capability, I tested it on my older Nokia Lumia 920. Unfortunately, it does not work in the normal position. I have to invert the phone for it to start charging. I'm not sure where the actual wireless charging part is on the 920 but it obviously does not play nice with this model. Since this phone is older and one of the first few to feature wireless charging, I'll assume that newer smartphones have the charging piece more centralized and/or have greater range. So I'm sure that i'll work fine for newer phones. It would have been nice for a broader compatibility but it's hard to say whether this affects a large amount of phones or not. Still, I feel like this is an overall solid product and works well when it charges. Nice and stable, charges fast, and keeps up even while using the phone. Overall, a solid piece and recommended, though I would double check to make sure it plays nice with your particular phone model.
