It worked until it didn't. We are not materialists - if we were materialists, we would value the materials we keep above all else. We are nothing more than garbage people, as we cycle through tons and tons of garbage, like clockwork. That's what this wall charger has taught me. It worked ok, annoyed I have to buy a new one. ~such is life~

I left yet another phone charger in the airport lounge recently, and needed a replacement 2-port wall charger ASAP. I was happy to discover this one is less bulky than I thought, based on the product photos. If you look at my photos, you can see how it compares in size to a (now dead) OEM Samsung single port charger---it's obviously bigger, but not excessively so, and the prongs fold, which makes it good for travel. Build-wise, it's pretty good. It plugs in fairly easily to most sockets, and sits solidly without wiggling around. Since the prongs are not dead center, you have to watch the orientation when you plug it in, if you don't want to block the second socket in a duplex outlet. (If that matter to you.) For my purposes, it's good---I'm sure it's only a matter of time until I leave it in another airport.... -----Update Nov 2017------ Came back to change my review from 4 to 3 stars, because the charger has now developed a high frequency whine. If you don't have good hearing, you probably wouldn't be able to hear it, but I can. In fact, since the limit of my hearing is roughly 18,000 Hz, if I had to take a guess, the whine is roughly 17,000 Hz. And if I had to speculate, I'd say there's a physical piece inside the charger, like a capacitor or something, that's doing the oscillating. It's annoying enough that I wouldn't use the charger in a quiet space. I've had a lot of chargers go bad over time, including OEM name brands like Samsung, but usually they last a little longer than this...
