Buy this product to use your Bose noise canceling headphones with the iPhone XS. Very satisfied with the sound quality of this device. With high-resolution ALAC music files, the use of this adapter can greatly improve listening enjoyment. I've tried six other brands and this one works fine compared to all other brands. Highly recommended.

Very good quality product from Dodocool. I brought this as the sound quality on a normal phone isn't great so needed something to boost the performance as I'm like many who loves music, quality music. I brought the gold one and the finish and the quality is amazingly like the quality of apple, clean clear and sleek! Its very small, the Adapter is less than £1 coin weight, users will forget that they are using Adapter like myself as it forms part of your headphone like extension only. This just plugs straight into my phone and I also plug a set of GGMM quality headphones to it which is the 3.5mm Jack, giving the quality amplified music my ears deserve! It doesn't require any battery or anything as it generates it power from the phone like a normal headphone. Quality amplifier adaptor!

This is a really great lightning to headphone adapter. Build quality is good, although I’d have preferred the control section to be metal, the same as the connector, hence docking one star for cheapness. However, the sound is great. The DAC is clearly better than the Apple adapter and sounds great with high quality headphones. What’s better is the bass boost mode. Pointless, if audio quality is what you’re looking for, but clearly it’s been designed for Apple’s EarPods. I like wearing these on the walk to and from school, as they are so open to outside noises and slip in the pocket easily. The bass boost mode now makes them sound like they probably should have always done. It turns the empty sound into a nice flat eq’d sound. You can hear the bass clearly now instead of being lost in the background. Yes, the sound is not earth shattering and nothing like what a decent set of on/over ears can produce but, they make the sound from the EarPods enjoyable at long last. This function alone is worth the money if you use the EarPods plus better quality sound on high end headphones with bass boost switched off. 5/5 for sound per pound, 4/5 for build due to plastic controls.

When I first purchased this item there was a discrepancy in the description that I was not happy with. This was quickly rectified by the seller, who also apologised. To clarify, this adaptor allows for using standard 3.5mm headphones with the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus. It includes in-line volume controls as well as bass boost functionality. It appears to be more durable than the item included with the iPhone 7. It apparently includes a higher quality DAC than Apple's unit and this does seem to be the case from initial tests - it is certainly louder, so will drive larger headphones more effectively, and the bass boost button is very effective with Apple's rather weedy EarPods

I ordered this for my new Iphone because apple had the "genius" idea of removing the headphone jack. I prefer using wired cables over Bluetooth since the sound quality is usually quite a bit better. This unit works right out of the box, was super simple to set up, and the sound quality was perfect.
