My girlfriend has been in to photography for many years. She's done great with the equipment she had, but I wanted to treat her to something new. These softboxes truly brought her photography to the next level. The pictures she has taken with them in the past week of our new puppy are beautiful. The lighting that these provide makes sure that you can capture every detail. I really look forward to the photos that will come from using this more.

First and foremost I’m shocked at the quality of this product. At this price i just assumed this would be a starter light set but this is simply not the case. It’s very well put together. Easy assembly is not the only thing that makes this set great it’s also the easy disassembly. 5 Stars was an easy eating. I love this set. Most importantly they make my photos and videos look awesome!

Set up my light kit for video recording. I was very interested in the background for green screen. The lights are great, even if a bit tricky to assemble the light boxes. Illumination is fantastic. The boom light is pretty much useless, it falls under its own weight. The background was my biggest disappointment. It is not 10 feet across . I am seriously considering painting a wall in my garage for the green screen and using the soft boxes to fill the light behind my subject. The frame for holding the green (or white or Black) screen has difficulty supporting the backdrop at full extension, or for that matter, at even five feet. The reason I am still undecided about keeping this kit is that I like the four bulb/two level lighting of the soft boxes. As I compare other options, I do not find a three soft box option that provides as much light at this price. The green screen options are wonderful, but simply too small for my purposes.

Overall the kit was good...just a few of the items was not in good condition. 1st one of the bulbs had this red marking on them...2nd one of the panels was cracked...3rd one of the bulbs didn’t even work...beside that it was easy to put together (even with my 3 yr old trying to help)...once I got the lights on it was bright how I (a beginner) would of liked it...not sure if this will help but this kit is a good start...also the backdrops need to be steamed before use...

I cannot identify the type of material the backdrops are made of. It appears to be some kind of light weight canvas. After unfolding all of the folds stand out. Spraying water and even ironing has not removed the folds and wrinkles. These back drops are a key part of the kit. Upon attempting to iron, the iron burned a huge hole in a split second. I sprayed water and it just beaded off and did not penetrate the material.The rest of the kit was good. I did not expect very much for the price paid, so no problems there. All parts were there, all packaged well and no broken bulbs. I just used water bottles for a counter weight. The light intensity is NOT adjustable. They would be better off replacing all three cheap crappy backdrops with a single 5 x 7 popup, white on one side and black on the other. Count on having to buy new backdrops!
