Q

Did you experienced a battery drain issue? And did you also notice an odor and discoloration of the rubber on the battery grip?

A
  • I havent used it enough. One thing I would sugest is turning off the grip power button if you arent using the grip controls. I have a different model for my 7D and love that. I just havent used the 70D enough to evaluate it like you are asking. scott

Q

Can I still attach my camera to a tripod while using this grip?

A
  • Yes, it has a standard tripod attachment spot in the bottom, just like the camera you're attaching it to. I use my camera with this grip and a tripod regularly.
