Questions & Answers
It does not work "with" any camera. This is just a light... You turn it on, you turn it off. It doesn't communicate with any hardware at all. It also doesn't have a hotshoe... It has a coldshoe... It's just plastic.

No. But there is a switch for turning it on & off.

no there is no power input

It's not a flash, it is like a flash light. You put it in your hot shoe and it does not communicate with your camera whatsoever

Mine is. Works fine for what it is. I use it for fill when doing long time exposures in rural areas at night.

Yes it does! I used it at a party and the folks I photograph complained about the brightness. So I used a sheet of toilet paper to difuse the light. It works well and is very bright!

Its about the same size, but very bright. At such a low price I would buy 2 and 1 for backup. I use mine at every event and wedding.

I bought this lamp when I took photos at night. It has a low power consumption, so you can only get good shooting results when conducting close-up interviews on video, otherwise, you may need a high-end camera to reduce the gain. However, when it usually depends on an external flash to take real photos, it is ideal for focusing subjects without light. I like that I use 2 AA batteries, so I can use rechargeable batteries for flash and large LED lights. I also like that it has a separate dimmer switch. However, it cannot dim the light completely, only to a certain extent. The build quality is good. I do not recommend installing other hardware, such as a microphone, on the top or side of this light. But it is made of high quality plastic.

This is a big small lamp. I used it with Osmo 2 to provide additional lighting. One drawback is that I had to buy an additional cold shoe adapter in order to place the clip on the Osmo. Adjustable lighting is an advantage and will extinguish a lot of light for such a small lamp.

I'm still a photographer. I use it for long exposure night shots, either reading the camera settings (especially when using an old film camera like Mamiya Press) or filling the subject. It's fine. It's small, it fits in your pocket. It is plastic and does not feel very strong, but I have been using it for a while and it has not cracked. I have some colored gels to work. Unfiltered light is very "cold."
