Questions & Answers
It does not work "with" any camera. This is just a light... You turn it on, you turn it off. It doesn't communicate with any hardware at all. It also doesn't have a hotshoe... It has a coldshoe... It's just plastic.

No. But there is a switch for turning it on & off.

It's not a flash, it is like a flash light. You put it in your hot shoe and it does not communicate with your camera whatsoever

Mine is. Works fine for what it is. I use it for fill when doing long time exposures in rural areas at night.

Yes it does! I used it at a party and the folks I photograph complained about the brightness. So I used a sheet of toilet paper to difuse the light. It works well and is very bright!

Its about the same size, but very bright. At such a low price I would buy 2 and 1 for backup. I use mine at every event and wedding.

Nice simple little easily portable small camera lights. I use them for fill and positional lighting for tabletop photography and they seem well suited to that or similar Macro tasks. I don't know how much good they would be for more open full scale photography or video work? They do seem to throw a good bit of light. The dimmers are nice, I actually just wish they went a little dimmer. They stow easily in the camera bag, only need two AA batteries and last a decent amount of time on them. So they can easily be carried out into the field with you, or just carried in your bag just in case. Plus their nice small size makes it easy to position them very effectively as a cheap way to do some creative lighting. They don't seem to get overly hot, although I do toggle them on and off between shots to save batteries. For tabletop I just attach a tiny pocket tripod to them or a clamp. I also sometimes throw a white cloth over them to soften and dim them a hair. Light color quality is a typical inexpensive LED slightly bluish white with no real yellow tones. taping a 2-3" sqare of gel filter material works well as well for color shifts.

I own several LED video lights and although the Godox isn't the brightest LED Video Light I have it's the one I use the most and here's why: First off the Godox CN36 is the smallest and lightest video light I have. The light itself runs on two standard AA batteries so I don't have to worry about carrying a special charger or batteries with me. I get about one hour of run time on full brightness and about three hours at low power. I'm using this light primarily as a general video and fill light and for that purpose it's great. The CN 36 is about 20" lighter than an iPhone 6 so when it's on my camera I hardly notice it's there. The most useful feature of this light is the dimmer switch. I've seen similar lights but they usually don't dim. The dimmer switch is a must on any video light because it allows you to customize the brightness and intensity of the light for your shot. This light can be stacked together with additional CN36's. It's hot shoe mountable and also has a 1/4" threaded tripod insert on the bottom. Tip: The hot shoe mount has little nibs on one end of the slider which may prevent you from using some Dual Flash Brackets and accessories. I filed the little plastic stoppers down on the bottom of my hot shoe mount so I can install the light either side of the bracket. If you have the same problem just file it down, It's an easy 30 second fix. One last tip - This light has a tendency to slip off the hot shoe bracket if the locking rings are not fastened securely. Make sure you tighten the locking rings down before you go out shooting. Overall the Godox CN36 is well built, give off good light and is easy to carry around which is why it's my most popular video light. I'd buy it again.

This light has joined my camera/video bag as a MUST HAVE. It's such an affordably priced fill light that gets impressively bright for the size and power consumption. Especially for close range subject, this easy-to-mount light will increase photo/video quality. I primarily work with videos, and so far it has been incredibly easy to use and has worked extremely well. There is such a visible increase in quality that comes along with using this lighting for video. I show off the difference in my review video as well! I purchased this from Letwing Digital! Pros: Price Brightens Light weigh Easy to use Mounts and Links Compact Cons: No rechargeable battery Overall, this is one of my favorite new additions to my setup. It's easy to use and works extremely well. You seriously can't beat this for the price. I received this product in exchange for an unbiased review.

Хороший осветитель но не слишком яркий, подойдёт для съёмки 1-1.5 метра.Приехал в коробке, есть инструкция, но и так всё понятно. Работает от двух батареек AA.A good illuminator but not too bright, suitable for shooting 1-1.5 meters.Arrived in a box, there is an instruction, but everything is clear. Powered by two AA batteries.
