I cover the bulb on my AD200Pro with this while setting up light modifiers on a stand, especially a boom type stand. Just in case I get clumsy and let things tip over during set up. Don't forget to take it off before you get it behind some diffusing screens or all covered up in a soft box.

The rim is straight would catch on the rubber inside of the bare bulb flash head. I noticed that the Wistro Wide Angle Diffuser has a bevel on the outside of the tube for a better fit. I filed a bevel on the outside of the protector tube with a metal nail file. Works great now!

First of I'll I'll say that I'm happy with this device. It covers the flash bulb as it should providing more robust and lower profile protection than using the reflector. Physically it is made of two pieces a lower that attaches to the flash head and an upper with a rolled lip an a small hole in the tip. It's made of aluminium and feels sturdy enough. I'm assuming the hole in the tip is meant to allow air to circulate in the event that you put it on when the bulb is still hot. In use it fits as well as any of the other accessories and seems unlikely to come off accidentally. In fact even when not twisted on/screwed down it's fairly tight. I only realised it was made of two disconnected parts when trying to remove it caused the upper portion to come off (it slid back on with a little force). Overall it does what you'd expect and for the price can hardly be faulted.

I like the metal, lightweight tube to cover the bare bulb used in the AD200 bulb light unit. The metal tube fits well over the glass tube when in the bulb AD200 unit. I just leave the bulb connected to the unit and cover with the tube to store away. The metal dissipates the heat quickly and protects other gear that might melt if it touches the hot bulb (not likely). A nice accessory to have.
