Good quality product I must say. It feels really hefty, weighing around 375 grams. I got this because I had two tripods and I wanted to switch camera mounts instantly without having to adjust my tripod's height. The quick release knob offers a really easy way to detach my DSLR from my tripod then switch to another one with a similar contraption attached. You attach this item on to a tripod with a 75mm screw. Some tripods come with a 50mm screw which is the standard screw to mount DSLR. So you might need to buy a separate screw converter to be able to use this product on some tripods - I got mine separately. The other one I use for my other tripod is very similar but just in a different brand from China - this old one of mine had some some sticky liquid spread all around the ball bearing which I would occasionally touch then I would end up with sticky fingers. I suppose it was put there to lubricate the ball joint, but it's a bit of a mess if you touch it. I was worried this Anoder version will have the same sticky substance in the ball bearing, but I was pleasantly surprised it was all clean and still easy to manoeuvre.

Consigliatissima

------------------------PLEASE SEE VIDEO FOR FULL REVIEW------------------------ I first bought this ballhead when I was looking for a cheaper alternative to the Joby ballhead for my new Gorillapod. I was horrified at the price Joby was charging and so I looked around and was very pleased when I found this! I have only heard great things about Andoer so I was very keen on this ballhead. I am pleased to say I now love this product and use it to make every one of my YouTube videos! Here I will list the pros and cons: Pros • Strong enough to hold any camera • Fits all tripods/monopods/gorillapods/sliders (3/8” thread) you only need to buy an adapter • Well priced! • Outstanding build quality • Very functional and very reliable/durable. • Works with GoPro base plates Cons • Weight (also a pro) The ballhead impressed me most with its’ build quality. The majority of the unit is made out of metal with an almost matte black finish which I really like. The ballhead is very functional and it is definitely built to last. So far I have been using this non-stop for a few months and it has shown very little signs of use. The ballhead works really well with any tripod, slider or GorillaPod. On a slider, the ballhead helps me to get angled shots which otherwise would be impossible and its weight helps to steady the sliders carriage. The ballhead is definitely strong enough to hold any camera as when the knobs are fully tight that ballhead won’t budge. All of the knobs have a very nice rubber grip on them which makes this product a pleasure to use. In the middle we have two knobs which loosen up the ball itself and another one below which loosens a rotating base. On that base we have a scale which is very useful for doing hyperlapses. Both the ballhead and base move very slowly so you could almost use this as some kind of fluid head. Above the ball there is a quick release system with a safety catch. I have found this very handy as you don’t have to screw the camera into the ballhead every time you use it. I have found the quick release system easy to use and I have no worries about using an expensive lens with it. The safety mechanism means that if you undo the plate slightly then the camera cannot fall out and this has saved my camera on multiple occasions. The plate is really well built with a o ring to tighten it and rubber griptape which holds on to the bottom of my camera very nicely. There are also two bubble levels to make sure you shot is level. The ballhead works with any camera with a screw mount and I also managed to attach the Go Pros base plate to it which worked perfectly (This isn’t an advertised feature!) The only minor downside to this is the weight which won’t be a problem for most people. If you are vlogging with a GorillaPod then this may take its’ toll on your arm. Overall I was genuinely amazed by this product and for such a reasonable price! I would not hesitate to recommend this ballhead! It has done the job perfectly whilst saving me some cash for more camera gear :)

Was nützt ein hochwertiges Stativ ohne Kugelkopf.

I got this to go on top of my Joby gorillapod slr mount. I was sckeptal at first due to the price, after all I didn't want my dslr coming loose and breaking! I was very happy when I received it. Very well made, feels durable and sturdy. I use it with a heavy canon 5d mk2 and it doesn't move an inch. Loosen the screws, adjust and tighter and it's rock steady. Moves around in all axis to enable that ideal shot. Wit out this you would struggle to adjust the camera enough on just the joby gorillapod. Worth the money? ? Absolutely! !!!

Operazione peraltro comune in questi casi.

This product was shipped promptly and arrived in good condition. The item is certainly not of the same quality as a RRS, Arca, or Sirui ballhead. However, those products would have cost at least 5x as much. This ballhead is amazing considering the ridiculously low price. The ballhead is not as smooth as my Sirui and the contact points for the ball seem to be plastic. It is not a metal oon metal contact as in more expensive ballheads. It is unknown how well this will hold up with time. So far it has proved to be stable with minimal drop on middleweight equipment. All in all, this product is a reasonable value.

This ball head is exceptionally well built, with all the knobs turning smoothly. I have a Canon 80D and Sigma 18-35 which is a pretty heavy combo, and this thing locks in any position with no drooping whatsoever. The two side knobs opposite each other form a double lock on the ball joint so it could probably take a big telephoto and still be fine. The only reason why I have docked a star is due to the weight - while this is a by-product of it's build quality, it is very very heavy. I wish this could be just as strong but with a lighter material, though that would probably increase the price too. If weight isn't a big issue for you, then this will handle whatever you put on it.

For the price, if you don't need a rock solid ball head that will hold a heavy camera setup at any angle, then this is a nice ball head that is reasonably smooth in operation and seems built quite well. It's unfair to compare this to my Really Right Stuff BH-40 head which is $300+, but to do so I'll say this one lacks the buttery smoothness and precision of the RRS head. More importantly however, if you twist the two opposed locking knobs down tightly, you can still move the platform with your hand....it will be very snug but movable nonetheless. With my RRS head, I observed the same thing after tightening down the twist lever to lock the ball. The difference is that upon observing I could still move the platform with my hand, it was still relatively easy to twist the lever of the RRS had to further tighten the clamping pressure on the ball until it was immovable. With the Andoer head, tightening down the two knobs enough to lock the position of the platform simply wasn't possible and one big reason is that the knurl on the knobs is provided by a rubber ring around the knob, that ring simply sliding once the knob is tightened to the limits of the friction fit between knob and rubber ring. If the head was more expensive, I'd probably not give it but 2 stars, maybe 3. But, at this price it's still a highly useful ball head if you know it's operating limits.
