This product can be used to transfer data of SAS hard drive disk. 

Features:
SFF-8482 end is for SAS hard drive disk, while SATA port to connect to ordinary SATA motherboard port. 
Transfer speed depends on the SATA interface. The common speed is 3Gbps or 6Gbps.
Supporting SATA mode hard drive such as LSI, 3041 X-R, 3041E – R, etc. 
Supporting motherboard which has SAS interface.
Application: It can be used to server SAS hard disk data transfer.
