Q & A
No. And I can't think of any reason why you would want 12v. Rx are usually 5-8 volts.

Yes it will work with a Walkera transmitter, when it has been bound to the transmitter.

I haven't attempted to fly more than about 150 yards, but signal also depends on your environment and RF noise.

The signal wire is closest to the labeling on top, 5v is the middle pins and ground is the 'bottom' pins.

I have several DEVO RX701 receivers. They have worked very well in the past. Only issue I ever had was some missed bind locks when my transmitter is powered on and then I apply power to the receiver. But it doesn't happen often. Aileron and elevator sockets are reversed from most receivers so be attentive to your connections. I'm using a DEVO 7E transmitter with the receiver on a quad-copter. My transmitter is modified with deviation version 3 software. I was even able to reverse channels in mid-flight without rebooting. Product shipped faster than expected. Fair price.I would buy again.

Works just fine for my DEVO 7 radio. Plug in the BIND cord into the Battery slot, then plug in your battery into any slot and allow a few moments to erase any memory the Receiver may have. Unplug the battery and remove the BIND cord. Next turn on your radio first, then plug in the battery where it goes with a servo on one of the slots to test the binding process. If it doesn't bind the internet will have a procedure you will have to follow, it will work, sorry I didn't save the web site but search for "binding the DEVO 7" you'll find it... JP

Great RX, the antenna's are long and at least with my Devo 7, you can random bind right out of the package- no bind plug required! You will have wait a couple seconds every time you shut down the controller to re-bind, but I can care less. I really like Walkera's RX TX systems.

The Walkera Devention DEVO RX701 2.4GHz 7 Channel Receiver RX 2.4 GHz will allow you to control your favorite R/C model. I'm currently using it to control a 500 size quad-copter. It can be used with R/C airplanes, helicopter, quad-copters, gliders or what every your imagination cooks up.
