A RM2344. thanks.
A This FPV just refers to you can use the SD card to save photos and videos of the aircraft in the aerial, but not real-time transmission. thanks.
The title says X5C-1 but the image of the white one is the X5C. I just ordered two of these and am going to return them if they are not the X5C-1 model. Can anyone confirm that the white one is the updated X5C-1?

It appears nothing is different except the props. The colorful props don't seem as durable though.

This drone far surpasses previous flying toys we have owned. We have gone through several helicopters only to be disappointed very quickly with their performance and durability. I purchased this for me as my toy and wouldn't let me near adult kids play with it until I had a chance first. Of course both of them are better skillled flying it than I am. Today's youth who play video games will take to the controls like a natural, for me, I need time. BUT I was able to get it staight off the ground on the first try and was able to easier retrieve it out of nearby trees before the short-lived battery ran out of juice. I should purchase another battery because I need more practice to learn how to fly this drone. Great deal for the price. Very pleased with my purchase.

Bought this as a gift for my husbands 30th birthday. He loves planes and has had many toy helicopters over the years. He loves this and has played with it every day since receiving it! In a matter of a day or 2 he mastered flying and landing. The camera and video footage is pretty cool too! Overall great item for the price, took 1 star off because the battery dies after about 15 minutes of continued use. Would love to see an extended battery pack for this. My husband has called this one of the best gifts he's ever got. Highly recommend it!

An inexpensive drone, with good capabilities. The camera/video leaves a lot to be desired (the pictures are about the same as a 10 year old flip phone), but that wasn't a purchasing reason, so the fact there's anything is just a bonus. Battery life is good, range has yet to be a problem (and I've gone out to around 150 yards, which is getting pretty hard to see), performance/speed is acceptable. I'm not sure how easy this is to fly for a beginner (I've been flying helicopters for years, so it's second nature), but it met my expectations, and did it at a great price point.

I bought this for my 11 yo son for Christmas. On it's maiden voyage he flew it into a tree rather high off the ground. The next day it snowed, sleeted and rained (we live in CT)...It remained in the tree for several days and the wind knocked it down to a more manageable height. We finally knocked it out of the tree with a football, charged it up and it was fine! The only reason it's not getting 5 stars is because the SD card for the camera is super small and we didn't receive an adapter for our computer. Otherwise, he loves it! Says it's super easy to fly and the range seems to exceed the specified 50 meters.

Got this for my son for Christmas and we had a blast with it. Beware: the instructions are terrible but thankfully YouTube has lots of videos for use and troubleshooting. Unfortunately, after he flew it into a tree, one of the motors started working intermittently and after some online research, I found this was a common problem with the soldering of the wires on the motors. I had to take it to a local drone shop to have it repaired and it's back to working like new. Great little drone, just stay away from trees and other objects.

Against my wishes, my husband decided to fly this right outside our home and within 10 minutes, had it stuck in a tree. We tried our best to get it out of the tree but my husband basicly had to climb the tree and knock it out. The batteries lasted the entire time, but the machine won't fly anymore. I have ordered a bunch of new gears and new motors and my husband will have to rebuild it and hopefully avoid trees next time. He's on his own if he trees it again. This gets four stars because it worked really well for the whole 10 minutes before it got stuck. Never even tried out the camera. lol

Excellent first-timer's UAV. It is very light, but very agile as well for a great learning curve. It has two modes for it's motor speed, to ease yourself into more dangerous ranges. The Pros: -Easy to Learn -Very easy out-of-the-box -Great community and online resources to learn more -Very durable. I've already crashed it into a tree and onto a roof, and it's still on it's first round of propellers. -LED's so you can see your orientation at night/low light/nearby The Cons: -The handbook is in engrish. -The Transmitter does not have that great of a range, but can be modified for power users. -The LEDs are difficult to get used to if you have no idea what they are there for. (Red should be facing away, green facing you)

This is a great toy drone for people who are wanting to get into drones. The image and video quality isn't the best, but it's definitely cool for its price. If you're looking into getting a longer battery life, I would suggest taking off the prop guards and camera. Furthermore, buying an additional battery is always an option if you're looking into flying this drone longer. The drone can go really high, and the lights on the bottom helps determine the orientation of the drone tremendously. All in all, this is great for beginners!

My first ever Quad Copter/Drone and I want to start off by saying I have only taken it out for 3 flights. It goes high and far and fast and is really fun to fly. BUT IT HAS STOP WORKING PROPERLY ONLY AFTER MY 3RD FLIGHT. I had a few crash landings in the grass and had to get it out of a tree but no serious hard falls. ONE OF MY BLADES STOPPED SPINNING AFTER MY THIRD FLIGHT. It appears to be an issue with the plastic gears. the gears in one of my blades is not turning smooth at all.. the small little gear is catching on something in the bigger plastic gear and I even took it apart and looked closer and I don't see anything in the way no missing teeth nothing obstructing it but it still wont turn smooth at all.. Any suggestions?

I am new to the world of RC drones. I read and did my homework on them and a lot of stuff I read and saw in reviews said for the newbie who is (as Pink Floyd says in a song) Learning To Fly, this was the best drone to learn with due to its cost and durability. My brother got an X5C for Christmas and he brought his in so I could see it in person. He did an indoor demo flight so I could see it in action and I was impressed. I decided to buy one of my own. When it arrived I hadn't read the sellers description closely where it stated "note: does not include a micro sad card" and was not pleased. I had even reboxed it and started a return then saw those cards are very inexpensive and I wasn't really buying this for the cam. This is to play with and learn to pilot so I can eventually move up to a good FPV equipped drone. I decided I'd go ahead and keep it because I can always get that card anytime. Amazon was very helpful when I called to cancel the return. Once I unboxrd it and read through the poorly written broken English instruction manual it was time to charge the batteries and get this bird in flight. Binding the copter with the controller is easy. Power on the controller, set the copter on a level surface and turn on the power on the copter and when the lights go from a rapid pulse to a slower blink move the left stick up til you hear a beep then all the way down. The controller beeps again and the lights on the copter burn steady. The copter will now respond to the controller commands. I've flown.....and wrecked a few of those 20 dollar Costco sphere type copters which really were hard to control for a newbie. Those spheres use an infrared type control so you need to keep the controller pointed at the aircraft at all times or it loses control and goes amuck and 9 times out of ten results in its demise. The controls for this drone have a totally different feel. You have a lot more precise control over the aircraft since I was indoors I was trying out hovering and simple movements. My suggestion for the beginner is find a large indoor area to get used to the drone's movements and controls. All in all I like this drone. If you are looking for a good quality and durable drone this is perfect learning quad for the cost. I took off a star for the ad card not being included but that's nothing big. I'm happy with it. Can't wait to try outdoor flying.

I bought this as a gift for an eleven year old, it is a very good starter drone. It has some weight to it, so it can recover from a fall and can handle some breeze. I do not like that I do not know if I am recording, it would be nice to see that on the remote display. I would recommend this drone for a starter, I can get up to approx. 30 feet and still have control, I do not know about the flips, it can also zip around pretty quickly, which makes it more fun. Battery life is about what I expected 15-18 minutes flight not including crash time and videoing.

Ignore the bad reviews below me. It DOES come with a battery charger, and the other 1 star review claims his son flew it away....well duh! If you can't fly it properly it WILL fly away. This is a 5 star "starter" drone. The camera works, and takes mediocre pics and videos. Definitely nothing to frame or post on youtube, but still it's a cool little camera and it even comes with an SD card and 4 extra propeller blades. Very easy to get out of the box and start flying, I had mine in the air in 10 minutes. Controller is easy to get the hang of and after 5 minutes of flight time I was really starting to get the hang of it. The battery life is 5-10 minutes and there is only 1 battery included. Order some extra batteries!

got one from another website that separates with other company.). Anyways like this drone so much , never thought it would be so fun to fly it. crashed it a lot of times , got it stuck on trees etc - still working fine . Extra battery's are must!!! fly time without camera is 9 min on stock battery and 12-13 on 680mah battery . with camera mounted and turn on it about 4-5 min on stock , 7 min on 680mah... Flying is really easy , but make sure you'll do some training on big open field before going into complicated spots with it. Absolutely love them , especially happy about fact that i got 2nd one for free ( seller send me first wrong one - without camera , told me to keep it and sent me second one with the camera for free)

This quadcopter is great for a beginner and someone looking to learn. It is not HD don't expect it. It cannot stream to your phone or anything crazy, but you have to remember how much you paid. It is worth the money, and I love mine. As long as I'm not near water and a lot of trees I would teach a six year old with it. It's not meant for racing, though it can be pretty fast. Before you do anything read the instructions about how to trim it and make sure you understand it and do it before you fly. Other than that Syma's are excellent for the price. I would highly recommend it.

Got this as a gift. My first drone and super easy to fly. Very responsive but not overly so. I painted the front props to make it easier to orient forward movement. Couldn't recommend a better drone for someone just learning the fun of flying drones. **Update** - I've had this drone for about two weeks now and love it even more. I've put it in two trees and have luckily managed to get it back. Not the drones fault, completely my fault. This thing is pretty durable as I used a football to get it down from one tree and it has taken hard landing after hard landing from flights with the kids at the controls. All in all I would highly recommend this drone to anyone looking for a solid, beginner drone.

If you are looking for a great first drone then you can't go wrong with this one!!! I have never owned one nor flew one but saw the reviews for this one and I love it!! I haven't had one problem with it. I have followed the instruction and recommendation by SYME. Not one issue has come up after 10 flights. I highly recommend watching some YOUTUBE videos on this drone for beginners like myself. You could easily loose this drone if your not careful. There are some great videos on how to fly this drone and it's not that hard to learn. Absolutely love this quad chopper and highly recommend it as a gift or as a present to yourself. also, the camera is not that bad. I didn't think it would look as good as it does. For the price, it's well worth it!! I included a short video. Don't judge my flying skills!! I'm just learning, but wanted to show how the camera looks..

First-time quad buyer, flyer, teacher of young pilots. This thing is rad. Surely, it doesn't do all the fancy moves that the really expensive ones do, but it flies. It's not difficult to pilot, you could probably fly it in the house (if you wanted to) on day one - definitely could do so with a little practice. We've been trying to fly it carefully and land gently, but the few bumps it's taken seem to have been shaken off quite easily. Have not tried the camera yet, but since it's not one of the "real-time" cameras, I really don't care about the camera function. We are learning to fly and it's really fun. If you've read this far, please mark "helpful" thanks!

So, I'm completely new to the quad flying thing, this thing is awesome. Very easy to learn on, once you figure out the controls. A couple times outside I took it up beyond my comfort level ( got some great pictures) when I felt it was getting away from me I killed the throttle and let it fall back to the ground at about 100 feet I throttled back up to full recovery, no issues, complete control again. As far as durability, fantastic, I've bounced this thing off of everything possible (trees, kids, walls, ceiling fan, cars, roof and 1 very moody harrier hound...) had it stuck in a tree over night, threw a football and knocked it down, new battery and it was good to go. Only knock against this thing is battery life, buy the 4 600mh batteries and charger for them and enjoy, YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED.......

It was challenging to fly once you are no longer facing the original direction (I could never fully get my head around it), but it was great fun while it lasted. It was pretty cool to fly it right at me and catch it out of the air with my hand. Because it's light-weight plastic it's pretty resilient and endured all manner of smacks and falls. Unfortunately I got it stuck in a tree, and when I went back the next day to retrieve it, someone had stolen it, but it was fun for several weeks. It drove my dog nuts when I would buzz around his head. I mainly got this one to practice getting comfortable with a drone before ordering a nice one to use for videos, and although I wish I hadn't lost it, I think it accomplished that purpose. I expect to order a higher-quality one before long.

I've been practicing with this quadcopter for the past two weeks and I'm impressed with what I got for just $50. Because of winter conditions, I'm flying in my basement which is limiting, but seems to be teaching me a lot. I've run into walls a number of times and so far, it's not damaged. I also bought this model for my son, but one of the motors was damaged so I returned it to tomtop. I'd be sure to buy from tomtop and not a third party. I haven't tried the video function yet. I plan on practicing until it crashes hard and needs a repair. At that point I'll buy a more expensive model which has more features. From what I read, these cheaper quadcopters are harder to fly. When you get into the $120 range you will get a model which is easier to control and you will get a better camera. For now, this is a great copter to practice with.
