the screw holes didn't line up, and there were no wiring diagram with it. once i figured the wiring out and made new holes it works great

Yes, but: I have virtually the same guitar (peavey) I had to drill a couple of 1/4" deep holes for the humbucker(the screws were longer) and it has two or three more holes on the mounting plate. I just didn't worry about it and it works just fine. Be sure to hook up the ground! Good luck. A fun, easy, cheap upgrade!

It will fit if the cavaty of your guitar is hollowed out to accept the standard HSS configuration. Almost all FENDER STRATOCASTERS and clone Strat guitars made in this century will accept HSS configuration.
