Pros:I originally bought another third-party cable for my 1st generation Nano, and it wouldn't let me sync to my computer. Nor would the second one that I got after going to customer service. Cons:This one works. I have not had any problems with it now. Bottomline:Not Apple brand like we were expecting, but works just the same! Super cheap and glad I didn't have to spend $20+ at the store for Apple Brand!
