I do not understand question
By Tom Biondo on February 6, 2018
No. It clearly states it is ONLY compatible with Manfrotto 501 500AH 701HDV 503HDV with Q5 plate.

I ultimately had to pony up the coin and get a really right stuff clamp that gets bolted to the plate that came with my Ronin M. Slide the plate out, slide camera on RRS clamp, lock down, slide whole assembly into Ronin M...lock down again. This is the only way I could figure out how to just have on Arca-Swiss style l-bracket on my Sony A7s2 so I could interchange it quickly with the Arca Swiss clamp on my tripod and move it quickly to the gimbal without specialty plates or screws or any of that. see less

It is made out of metal and has a few small plastic parts ( knob ) . For the $ , I think it is a good buy
By BentonPark on September 25, 2017
Yes, I use it on top of my Glidecam HD2000
By Bernardo Gutierrez Duran on September 15, 2017
No. This is (sorta) compatible with Manfrotto 501 QR plates. That includes Benro and other makes that use the Manfrotto plates but the Magnus isn't one.
By Nigel on September 5, 2017
Of course it has 3/8 screw.

I using a lot of different filming gear but there are many different adapters. One main concern is on my Glidecam 4000. All my reviews said they purchased a Manfrotto but I was not convinced it was my only option. After deciding to "try" this quick release clamp, I found it works just as good with a cheaper price. Not only that, but this quick release has two levels on it. This is nice because I have to have a level device but my eye isn't always accurate. There is a level which is ALWAYS nice to have on any video gear. The tightening clamp on the side is spring loaded like any good QR should have. I think the thing that impressed me is it locks so you don't have to worry about the plate sliding off if it isn't tightened 100%. It comes with multiple ways to mount the plate to the gear and mount the camera to the plate. I could see myself getting a couple more of these plates to use, across all my gear. for ease of use.

This is a great product, made of excellent materials. Obviously you are not buying a Sachtler or a Vinten product for this price. But back in my days... parts and adapters and plates were only made by the big companies and they used to cost a fortune. NOW we have products like this one that are made by the same factories in China and are sold for a reasonable price and work great. - The build material is solid and well finished. - The small and low profile is very useful. - The plate is the same as some other companies and I can use it with their products. - Perfect to have a few of them in each tripod or slider and change cameras fast and easy I'm ready to buy 3 more soon.

Pros: 1. Good build quality. 2. Level bubbles for both axis. 3. Both size mounting screws included, 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 4. Affordable pricing. Cons: 1. Rubber stopper is not designed to stay on when removed to change the mounting screw. It will fall off on the ground unless you are careful to catch it in the palm of your hand. Manfrotto has this solved by a second bulb on the rubber stopper. 2. Mounting screws are not knurled. Slippage when trying to hand-tighten or hand-loosen. I know we're using a coin or other device to use the slotted top, but, still, Manfrotto knurls their screws. Makes it easier to start and remove mounting screw. 3. Level bubbles are a bit hard to see, thus afford limited functionality to the degree you can't see the bubble clearly. Summary: Really deserves 4 1/2 stars, but i thought i'd give it 4 stars so you know to assess these minor drawbacks against the benefits.

I grew up not knowing anything about photography and cheap tripods with really really cheap plates and adapters. Now that I have a couple of manfrotto gear, I know what a good tripod, head, and plate feels like; I hesitated to get this plate and adapter due to the price, but I'm glad I took a chance. I have to say that I bought a non Manfrotto quick plate a while back and it did not fit and was worried a little b/c I wanted my cake and eat it too meaning I can interchange the quick plate to my actual manfrotto adapter and this one fit perfect; not sure why others people didn't fit, maybe I am just lucky, but hey that's what amazon returns are for. I don't have anything bad to say about this adapter and plate; it feels very very durable, has a leveler, double lock just like the Manfrotto adapters, and the price is great. The plate is a little longer than my manfrotto plate, but I really didn't care about that as long as it fits in the Manfrotto adapter.

These are ALMOST perfect. My only gripe is that the release plates are a bit thicker than they should be. I noticed that all my Manfrotto (502 and 501) plates worked very smooth in these adapters but on the flip side, the included plates did not work in the Manfrotto products. Instead of returning them, I sanded down all the plates about a millimeter and they all fit perfectly now. I think the manufacture should look into this because they were almost too snug to fit their own adapters. Otherwise, these are great! The quality and versatility of these adapters are actually better than some of the Manfrotto ones I have used in the past. Overall, I recommend them but you might need to whip out a sander if you want to use these with existing Manfrotto systems.

This quick release clamp appears to be the same part under a variety of different names. It's hard to say, but I went with the Andoer name as it was $1 more and I've had decent results with that brand before. Some reviewers have stated that the mounting plate doesn't mate with their Mandrotto brackets and others have said it did. I had no trouble using this with both my Manfrotto and Benro products. I have a variety of plates and brackets from several manufacturers and although this plate and bracket aren't quite as polished as others I own, I didn't feel it was enough to complain about. Truth be told, a lot of Mandrotto stuff is pretty rough around the edges. One of the things I liked about this bracket was the number of mounting holes it has. My one slight complaint with the holes is that I'm needing a 1/4 hole and the centered hole on this bracket was the larger 3/8. Obviously only one hole can occupy the center and that's probably the more common size used. There were plenty more 1/4 options, so this bracket still works. The bracket is constructed from metal and the red clamp lever and red release button are aluminum. Many brackets use plastic for buttons/levers. Everything tightened up nice and secure. I have no fear mounting my $5k rig on this. The good thing about the Manfrotto design is that the plate slides under grooves and is locked in place by a clamp, but is also secured by a pin. Should the clamp come lose, the plate would have to bypass the locking pin to come out of the bracket. It's a pretty good two stage protection method. I don't use the built in levels on the brackets I have, but his one seems accurate, if not really small. You may need a magnifying glass to see the bubbles. One thing that seems odd with this bracket/plate combo is that the plate is a decent bit longer than the bracket. It's not an issue for me, but it just looks weird as all my other bracket and plate combos have the plate the exact length of the bracket. The length disparity is probably due to the fact that both parts are made in two separate factories and I bet the plates are sold as separate parts as well. This is probably why some people have had issues. Hard to QC when parts are made for several different applications and not even at the same plant. Over all, for the price and construction. Worth the price.

I just purchased this Andoer Quick Release Adapter as a replacement for another plate which failed after less than two years service, Video Quick Release Adapter with Plate . This adapter and plate, like the one it replaces, interchanges perfectly with both the Benro P4 quick release and QR6 plate and the more expensive Monfrotto 577/501. Bubble levels are a nice extra over the one it replaces but I did have to add my own D-ring camera screw. Replacement D-ring screws are available on TOMTOP. This adapter is wider overall and has five 1/4"-20 and two 3/8"-16 thread holes for flexibility in mounting to your tripod or other support , which is an advantage for my application as the plate tightening lever better clears the tripod head under it. All machining appears clean and neat and having the slightly longer plate without having to purchase one separately is a bonus. It appears to be as well made as the Benro and Manfrotto QR systems and should last. Time will tell and I'll update if problems arise.
