I would use an Amplifier with that many lights. I think using this power supply with that many lights will only burn the power supply out. If each strips needs 2 amps then you would need at least a 10 amp power supply and this one is only 2 amps.

Hi, this is a switching power supply, 12VDC regulated....... it's been working very well and stable. For your reference, the load drives 1.1A.

I'm not an expert. I use mine (and am happy with it) to run several 12v PC fans. I added up the amps on all the fans and it came in just under 2amps. I have NO idea if the amp capacity will meet your needs. May need to put a different connector on the device to match your need.

i do not know but it does not weigh as heavy as a transformer. it weighs the same as the one that broke, which essentially is very light. sorry i am not able to provide more detailed info.
