I've been using it for saltwater for over 4 months w/o any corrosion issues. A bit of a learning curve since it doesn't have a magnetic break but good for the price

There is no direct correlation to lb/test ratings as different types of line from different manufacturers will have different diameters. You'll need to find out what the diameter of the line you wish to use on the reel is and if it's close to the 0.26mm-0.30mm rating. I'm using a braided line that's 30lb test with a diameter of 0.23mm on this reel so it'll hold a little less than 200 meters or 218 yards of that size. I also have a 40lb braided line that's 0.32mm that I could use instead if I want to (though I use the 30lb because of the color). In that case I would expect it to hold maybe 95m or 103 yards of line. Using the rating above and knowing the diameter of the line you intend to use will allow you to estimate how much line it'll hold. see less

If the unicorn turns itself into a fish first, then likely yes. Depends on the size of fish it becomes, if it's a game fish like a marlin then this reel it too small to catch it. But if it does you a favor and becomes a bass or a salmon, then it's all down to your skills as an angler... … see more If the unicorn turns itself into a fish first, then likely yes.
