The maximum weight is 50g. The precision is up to 1 microgram. 0.001, so 0.050 would be 50milligrams. I use this to weight my suppliments. Works great. Also comes with 50g weight to check accuracy at your atmospheric pressure.

I would think so. It weighs accurately to 1 gram. One gram equals 15.4 grains. Since we are probably talking over a hundred grains it would be no problem since the scale will weigh accurately to within one gram.

It is used to count a large number of small objects. For this example, I will assume you are weighing a bottle of pills and will describe how to use the TARE feature in conjunction with PCS. *Empty the pill bottle. Manually count out 25, 50, 75, or 100 pills. *Place the empty pill bottle on the scale, and press the TARE button to zero the display. *Put the 25, 50, 75, or 100 pills you manually counted back in the bottle. *Press and hold the PCS button. It will display 25, 50, 75, or 100. Repeatedly press the MODE button until the display shows the number of pills you manually counted (25, 50, 75, or 100). So if you manually counted 25 pills and put them in the bottle, press MODE until 25 is displayed. *Now press the PCS button again. You are now set up and ready to count. Put the rest of the pills in the bottle, and read the count! The scale has a 50 gram capacity. If you have more than 50 grams of pills, count them in small batches, noting the count of each batch and adding the batch counts up. see less

I bought this digital scale solely for my coffee ground. I'm very particular when comes to coffee. I like my coffee ground 7g per cup. If I want 3 cups, I want 21g of coffee ground. Because of this reason, I got this for my coffee drip. It worked well and as I expected. The only thing I didn't expect was the size of this scale. It is kind of small in my opinion. Perhaps it is for something small like jewellery instead for my purpose but it worked well and accurate. I only used this for a few days I like it.

This scale is great for casual home use like I purchased it for. The scale feels like it's made of a cheap plastic with a nice rubber coating over it, so even though I'm not sure it'll withstand multiple hard drops, for the price and intended use it's perfect. For me, that would mainly be measuring ingredients for cooking or for weighing envelopes to see if they need more than 1 stamp. The included calibration weight for the maximum capacity of 50 grams keeps the scale accurate, with more than enough precision for me, but easily gets overloaded if you try and put anything heavy on the scale. For me, this isn't a deal breaker but it's something to consider.

This is a really good scale to have. You can use it to weigh all kinds of things. Just a simple example. I had some broken gold necklaces, rings, and earrings. They were in different pieces and before I was going to throw it in the trash, I remembered I could weigh it and see if it's worth the trip to the jewelry store. And wow, not only did it weigh it good, I had the opportunity to compare it to the jeweler and his was off by a tiny bit. Lol...but it was right. We had a 3rd person weigh it, and my digital milligram scale, was the correct weight..so it's great to have with overall good qualiry.

Extremely accurate and very well made. Only design issue is the lid won’t close with the cup in it. But great reliable scale for very accurate small measurements. I’m a fine jewelry dealer and weigh gold, silver and gemstones very often, I have owned many scales and this is one of my favorite.
