Don't let it fool you, when comparing the cheaper price of this stove to the more expensive EmberLit and CampMate stoves, this wood burner by Lixada is just as good, if not better because of the price. It comes in a nice, black carrying case that can easily fit some matches or a lighter inside. The protective covering over the stainless pieces is very easy to take off; absolutely no area had residue from the removed adhesive. The first thing that I noticed though was how heavy this stove is when it's folded up. It shocked me to realize the true weight of this stove, especially when it looks so light in the pictures. When assembled, this thing is a rock. The sturdiness of this stove makes it worth carrying the extra weight. It could probably be sat on and still not collapse under the pressure. The air holes on the sides and bottom of the pan create a fire that burns amazingly hot and fast. I was able to bring 500ml of water to a boil in less then 4 minutes. That's crazy fast! The crossmember on the top where the pot is rested can fit anything from a solo mug to a cast iron skillet. This stove is great for backpacking, but being on the heavier side, I wouldn't recommend this for someone trying to go ultralight...but I would absolutely recommend this for anyone who camps and doesn't want to keep buying fool, as it's free in the woods. I took one star off just because of the weight, but it's still better then spending over 70$ on a titanium stove of the same design.

This is an inexpensive way to pick up a small biomass type of backpacking stove. It does take a little practice to get the stove assembled easily, but once you get the hang of it, it's a snap. You can use the stove as an alcohol burner, a tablet stove, or for small sticks and twigs. It is sturdy enough that you could use a larger pot (although it would take a while to boil water in a pot that size). If you know you will not be using the alcohol/tablet dish, you can leave it home. The result is that you have a stove small enough to fit in your shirt pocket.

Just received this today along with the Esbit CS585A 3 piece Lightweight Camping cookset, so I haven't had a chance to use it. Seems durable enough. Easy to assemble, especially since no instructions were included. Lightweight. It should have to trouble doing the job I purchased it for. Bought if camping, hiking and for emergency use. Have no doubt it can do the job. Looks as if I can put a triangia stove in it, burn wood and fuel cubes. Will update review when I use it. Overall, for the price and what I received, I'm pleased with my purchase.

I used this over the weekend for boiling water for freeze dried meals. Assembles in a snap, and does it's job in a no fuss way. Small twigs and whatever other detritus lying about is all the fuel you need to get the job done. The open side allows for simple feeding of the fire. It seems very sturdy. The water heated quicker than I might have anticipated, which was pleasing. I purchased a stainless steel mesh screen to use as a small impromptu grilling surface, which I haven't used yet, but has the potential to be a very handy addition, and it fits neatly in the stove's included storage pouch.

This stove is impressive! I own a similar stove made by Emberlite which cost twice as much as this brand. This Lixada model is on par or better at half the cost. About to purchase another one.

Compare this stove to the Emberlit Stainless steel stove at $37.08. They are very similar in all respects. My initial impressions after an Overnighter: 1) it works very well 2) is a quality product that will last for years 3) it can fit in literally any backpack. Thumbs way up on this folding stove. Take the $19.09 you save and apply it to another piece of gear.

I am impressed with size of this folding stove; it is much larger than I expected. I have it in my emergency/bug out bag, but I know I'll be taking it camping soon. Great price; less than 1/2 other brands.

Good product, had to modify with a couple pins, this was the unhinged version. Works great in my hunting pack for boiling water on the trail.

Awsome little "Organic" Camp Stove! Extreemly Sturdy, Easy to Assemble & Breakdown, Takes up very little space in your Backpack. I recommend purchasing Fire Starter Cubes if Your Fire Craft Skills are a bit Rusty. I use mine when I've pitched Camp for an Overnighter or More... But also carry a "Primus" Gas Set-up for that First Cup of Coffee ( To Boil Water for my Coffee Press Tumbler ) so I can watch the Sun Rise & Meditate before Breakfast.

Really worked well, even in high wind, Had my water boiling in 2 mins for a mountain house entree. It now lives in my camp gear so its always ready for trips. Its big enough to cook food on (i have seen others that are tiny compared to this) but its not TOO big or too heavy.

For the price of this stove I am thoroughly impressed with it.The metal itself is of a sufficient thickness/stiffness that I don't see any issues with larger pots and pans being a weight problem.
