I wouldn't know. I order and returned this drone twice because of battery and the charger being poorly designed which prevented the drone from flying.

I believe the description said it had auto hover, but we haven't tried it yet. It's a holiday gift :)

It uses the same controller at t47 but is a bit smaller and great for indoor flights. T47 is personally my favorite. It bigger then the t37 mini but uses the same control. It has similar features but the camera can look at any angle including strait down. The 37 mini is not as flexible. The t47 also does better outside since it is more powerful, faster and can Handel wind better. It can be flown indoors, but the 37mini is more suited for precision indoor flying. T33 is similar to 47 but has a traditional style controller instead of the tilt controller. It also has blade guards wich help it stay i one piece with new flyers. All record 720p video and can be controlled with the same app. 37 and 47 do not have prop guards although I’ve smashed both into the wall with no real problems. All come with spare props to. IMO the t47 is the most stable and all around best. The t37 mini is best for indoor flight. see less

One of the coolest toys I've enjoyed playing with the past few years is definitely a drone, and my kids love them too! I'm not the only one that enjoys them, and as a result there are tons to choose from when shopping around. So how do you pick one? Read on for my opinion! First let me just make one thing clear - if you are shopping for a high quality drone be prepared to dish out some good money for one. Now I'm not saying there's anything wrong with the many inexpensive choices out there (including this one), but just be sure your expectations are in line with your budget. You can find a great "toy" drone for $50-$100, but just remember it will be a toy. The battery life on drones in this price range will be short (often under 10 minutes per charge). Features may be limited as well, however I will say for the price I think many of these come with some great features. One of the cool features many of them come with is built-in wifi which allows you to control it from your smartphone. The app also enables you to view the video feed from the drone camera on your smartphone while you are flying it. Keep in mind most of these drones do not have any built-in storage or micro sd slot, so using the app is the only way you can record photos and videos straight to your smartphone. You may find that you prefer to control it with the app versus the controller - either way it's nice to have both choices! Lets take a closer look at the T37 - It has some great features: - Size: The propellers fold in nicely and it comes with a soft storage bag. This unit is small enough to easily throw in a backpack or even in your pocket. The remote is almost as big as the drone itself! - Camera: Has an average built-in camera (see photos and video). Unfortunately I couldn't fly this outdoors due to sub-zero temperatures in my area! As you can see from the photos and video it does ok. Photos and video generally look much better under good lighting conditions like those you would find outdoor. - Wifi: This camera has built-in wifi so you can download the GoolRC app and connect directly to it with your smartphone. I find I like this method of flying better because I can see the live video feed and record photos and video. Also I find the app a little more intuitive than using the control which has no markings on it. - Accessories: This drone comes with two spare batteries for a total of 3. The batteries are very easy to remove from the bottom to swap out which I really like. Also included is the battery charger (plugs into any usb), the remote wand, a soft carrying case, and some spare blades. Note: If you think yours only came with one battery be sure to check underneath the packaging - my spares were tucked there along with instructions in multiple languages. To begin flying it's pretty easy - turn on the device with the button on top, put batteries in the remote and turn it on, then press up then down on the joystick. The lights should change from flashing to solid on the drone to indicate it's connected to the remote and ready. If you're using the app you turn the drone on, go to your wifi settings and connect to the GoolRC connection (Note: It may take a bit for your phone to find it), then open the app (or download it first if you haven't already), click connect on the app, then click off at the top to toggle it to on and click the little hourglass two buttons over from the off/on button. The lights on the drone should change from flashing to solid to indicate it's connected and ready. Then you're all set. My advice is to use this drone (or any drone) in a large open area unless you are an expert. They often taken some practice to get the hang of them and can quickly move towards something you don't want them to and crash. My other advice is to look over the instructions carefully. Even though there are multiple languages and some of it can be a bit hard to follow you'll mostly want to focus on the buttons and what they do with the remote or the app. Both are discussed in the instructions. Personally this style of controller is not my favorite - I prefer a standard controller. This one reminds me a lot of a Wii remote and it uses sensors in the remote to control movement of the drone as you tilt it. I could see where some people would like this better, but on this model I prefer to use my smartphone for controlling it. Finally, keep in mind this is a plastic drone with no protection over the blades so it's possible to break them when crashing. I will say I've crashed drones quite a few times and have yet to have that happen but it obviously does since they include spares. They are certainly not indestructible. I own several other models from GoolRC, including the GoolRC T47 FPV Drone Foldable with Wifi Camera Live Video 2.4G 4 Channel 6 Axis Gravity Sensor RC Selfie Quadcopter RTF With Bonus Battery and GoolRC T49 FPV Drone with Wifi Camera Live Video 2.4G 4 Channel 6 Axi Auto Foldable Arm Altitude Hold RC Quadcopter which are both steps up from this model so be sure to check them out along with my reviews on them as well! I hope this information helps - happy flying!

This drone is a unique (in a good way) drone. Instead of the regular remote, the remote senses your hand movement to determine which way the drone will go. My wife, who rarely flies drones said she really liked it and it was easy for her to control and use once you understand how it flies. Below is a list of pros and cons for this drone: Cons: - It takes a moment to get used to using this type of remote. Pros: - It has 3 batteries that come with it - which can potentially extend flight time by 3. Each battery lasts about 6 minutes. 6x3= 18 minutes of flight time. - Very easy to control once you get used to it. - Very compact. It becomes pocket sized, so you can take it where you want. - Smooth control. - Emergency stop. Personally, this is one of my favorite things about it because often times, drones don't have an emergency stop button especially if you're still learning to fly it. This drone does. Overall, this is a great beginner drone and one my wife's favorite for it's unique, yet easy control, for the 3 batteries, and emergency stop button. This is a really compact drone...small enough I can easily put it in my coat pocket and carry around with me. I like how easy it is to set up and use. I would give the actual drone part a 5 star rating...it works great and is durable. The extra drone batteries are a nice touch and I give it 5 stars for including these in the package. I would give the hand held controller a 3 overall because I found it to be a little less responsive and it took me some time to get used to it before it would fly well. So overall, I gave it 4 stars because it is fun, handy, and works well.

This drone toy is awesome for anyone who is looking to get into flying drones and doesn't want to lash out $500+ for a real drone. It's easy to get a hang of and use. The camera quality isn't as terrible as I expected it to be, it's reasonable for this price range. The batteries charge in under half an hour each, which I think is great as well. The battery lasts for about 7-10 minutes, in my usage, while broadcasting footage to my phone. I haven't tried the handheld controller but I bet the battery would last even longer while using it. I've faced only two minor issues in my usage of this drone, and one is partially my fault. First, when I flew it for the first time, obviously I crashed it. It hit a pretty big rock and the plastic that holds the battery in place cracked, causing the battery to not stay connected well. Therefore now I have two functional batteries. It's not a big problem, and I admit, it was kinda my fault, but I would expect build quality to be a little better. Still I'm surprised it made it to the ground in one piece and that it still functions perfectly, despite this inconvenience. Also, I've found the connection it makes to my phone to be pretty weak, so while video records excellent, when it flies far off, since the video is not stored locally rather broadcasted through WiFi and recorded to the phone's storage, the quality is terrible at higher altitudes, which sucks. All in all, it functions as expected, and you're getting exactly what you're paying for. You'd be hard pressed to find a better drone for this price.

For the money, it's a solid drone. You're not spending a thousand dollars so you can't expect it to be a thousand dollars drone. The little remote that it comes with, uses gestures to control the flight of the drone. Or you can install the app made for it to control with your device. Big plus for it would be, it comes with 3 batteries so it's nearly impossible not to have a battery charged to keep on playing. It does have a built in camera that you can take pictures and videos with but it is difficult to say the least, to fly well enough to use the camera.

You’ll receive the drone, a soft fabric carrying bag, a remote controller, 3 rechargeable batteries, a USB charging cable, an extra set of rotors, two sets of rubber feet, and an instruction manual. The drone is compact and light measuring 4.5” x 2.25” x 1” tall when folded up. The fan blades fold out from the sides and the footprint is 6.75” x 5.75”. On top is a single power button for turning the drone on and off. On the bottom is the battery slot and the batteries easily slide/click into place. There’s a 720p camera on the front that is not adjustable but takes decent photos/video. You’ll want to take four of the rubber feet and install them in the holes on the bottom of the drone before you get started. The remote control requires 2 AAA batteries which are not included. The controls are interesting because they are gravity sensing. Starting up the drone takes a few steps but once you get the hang of it is simple. I really like the gravity sensing remote because I find it to be more intuitive than the traditional toy joystick rudder/throttle controls. The drone is very balanced in flight and can hover fairly still. I also like that the remote has an emergency stop if the drone is flying out of control or being taken by the wind, but keep in mind your drone will simply fall from the sky so make sure the way below is clear before hitting that button. The other way you can control the drone is using the GoolRC app on a mobile device. The app sometimes connects, sometimes doesn't so it's a bit finicky. When it works though you'll get full control of the drone including camera functions for photo/video and 3D flips. If you want to get all the features out of the drone you have to use the app since you can’t control the camera or 3D flips with the remote. However, the remote is still a fun way to fly the drone without those features and it’s great that the drone folds up compactly. Because of its size, it works best indoor where you have few obstacles because it's unaffected by wind. Outside, a breeze easily carries it off so you have to be careful to keep it in range of the remote, as it won't return to you automatically if it loses connection. On a full charge you’ll get about 10 minutes of flying time max but average around 5-7. The only problem I had was that one of the batteries shorted during charging and started smoking, so I had to toss it because I was afraid it would be a fire hazard. Always be careful with Lipo batteries and use a fireproof bag when charging! Otherwise a pretty fun toy.

I really liked one of GooIRC's drones I previously purchased (GoolRC T100 Mini Drone). It was a great beginner drone that allows movement control via a hand motion. After I mastered the use of the other drone, I wanted to buy a more advanced one that also has a camera built in for taking snapshots. So, I thought I would give this one a try. PROS - Small and convenient to carry - Propellers tuck flatly into the body - Came with extra set of batteries (big PLUS!) - Gesture based Remote control - Remote control via smartphone app - Pictures taken are decent quality - Hovers pretty steadily CONS - Remote has no labels, making it difficult to remember what button was for what function - App works fine - When it crashes into a wall or tree, propeller gets dislodged and you have to look for it - Lack of safety guard on the propellers (like their GoolRC T100 mini drone) makes this dangerous to use around kids as they are pretty sharp - Due to the small size, a strong wind will make it nearly impossible to control the drone TIPS - To pair the remote to the drone, you have to push the joystick UP, then DOWN. You will then see the lights on the drone turn solid, ready for lift-off by pressing the joystick down This is a great drone with an intuitive, gravity-based, gesture/hand motion control. I do wish that there were some guards to protect the propeller from hitting things and becoming dislodged (or hitting people!), but the extra batteries make up for that problem. The lack of safety guards does make it a small safety issue, and for that I am knocking off 1 star. If you found this review helpful, please hit the "Yes" button to encourage me to write more. Thank you!

I really enjoy the drone craze but have always thought the best ones were too big. However this small drone is both easy to use and provides a lot of fun for both me and my kids at school. Also my nephew finds this to be a fun toy with the included video option as we can antagonize the cat and dog and get first hand views of the response. So much fun. The small hand held control is fairly easy to use but seems a bit on the cheaper side and thus the reason for a 4 and not a 5 star rating. Still for a toy it actually provides hours of fun and still is quite functional as well.

What's most important to know about this drone is that it is very tiny - it's a "mini drone." It's a fun little toy and can be taken anywhere. It can literally fit in your pocket - it's the size of a thick cell phone. This drone can be a bit difficult to maneuver at first. I definitely recommend trying it outdoors with a lot of space. But after a few tries, you'll get the hang of the accelerometer in the joystick/remote. In some ways, the remote is relatively simple compared to advanced drones. The drone comes with three batteries, which is nice so you can hot swap a battery and keep flying, which is pretty sweet. Unfortunately, one of my three batteries didn't work, though, but since I still had two others, no big deal.

This is a really nice/small drone (look at the pictures for size comparison with an iPhone 6). Pros: Good option **for the price** (less than $50). Controller included Nice battery design, just insert it in the slot and you are good to go (other options at this price range require dealing with cable connectors). really small responsive Spare propellers Cons: Limited range Camera quality is OK. Controller is not that easy to use (at least in my case).

Pretty self explanatory. Packaging simple. Instructions are okay. The camera is good. The only thing is the rubber stoppers (landers) at the bottom fall out easily if you crash into anything. Manageable drone!! Very accurate with the remote controller and wrist movement. Disclaimer: I was given this product for my honest review. I was not paid to give a review.
