steering wheel controls compatible....but the one I received wasn't Bluetooth compatible although it said it was but it's the trade off because I need the navigation control.

I don't know if it fits the dassboard of a passat but I can tell you the docooler is a low quality stereo, the guys never sent me the remote control and watching a movie is impossible
