1. It can be powered by the FC40's battery or a secondary battery. 2. The FC40 can control the pitch up/down function. Connect up a cable and disconnect the center pin on the gimbal, then adjust the gains on the gimbal until you get the desired control.

I had to go to a Hobby Shop and get connectors to make a jumper cable to go between my battery and the gimble. The gimble supplier basically told me I was on my own.

Yes, it works with cheerson, it plugs in and can be controlled with the aux knobs, there is a little flang on the plugs that has to be cut off first, but it works great.

This Gimbal was made for the GOPRO 3. If it's the same size you can strap it in. Just remember to balance the unit with out power first!!!! And then power it up and it should by fine good
