Sort of, the main back frame will fit the camera however the front retaining bar will not screw on. You can use rubber bands or small hair bands to hold the Hero 5 in place though, and use it just as well.

If it is the same size of the go pro 4 yes it will fitt but you will have a little gap of a few mm witch won't create any issue with the gimbal stability. I'm using the YI 4k that is longer and higher then the go pro with no problem.

Nope this won't work. I also have a yi 4k and ended up getting - Mount Plate Adapter For GoPro Hero 5/4/3+/3, Adapter Mount Plate for Zhiyun Smooth-Q 3-Axis Gimbal Handheld, DJI Osmo, Feiyu Gimbal Accessories.
