Excellent tripod, well made and packaged. Found the legs a little stiff to move, but better that than having them too loose. Comfortably supports the D7100 with the Sigma 100-300mm f4 and 1.4 EX DG. If you want a carbon tripod that is versatile and well made, this is the one.

I can't yet comment on the longevity of this tripod, but for < £100 it so far appears to be astonishingly nice piece of kit compared to other tripods I've used costing both less and rather more. It's seriously light, rigid, 'feels' good in terms of engineering fit and finish, and converts from a tripod to a monopod with a couple of twists. What more could one want?

The QZSD Q999C carbon fibre tripod is of very good quality and sturdy given the lightness of it. I am a professional photographer and use a heavy duty Manfrotto for weddings and commercial photos, which is very good and rock solid in any type of wind or weather but also a tripod you wouldn't want to lug around when travelling. I have a Velbron which I used to use for traveling, but being aluminium, it wasn't too rigid or light and not ideal. I bought the QZSD Q999C because carbon fibre is more rigid and lighter and it folds up quite small, ideal for putting in aircraft hand luggage. I am not disappointed, it is a very good tripod and well made, even more important it is cheap! I would recommend this tripod to anyone that wants a light, travel friendly, firm support for their camera.

A sturdy piece of kit which folds down nicely to easily fit inside a rucksack. Very handy for me as I travel to Germany a lot on photographic trips with only cabin baggage. Got it at a decent discount whilst on special offer, and the tripod was delivered within 4 days of placing the order.

This was a class item that looked really smart with it's black and gold colouring. Used the tripod for the first time with out any issues.Have found it easy to position and steady to use. No real wind so didn't need to try and stabilise it further with the hook underneath, could knock it for the conditions I was using it in. It is extremely light when comparing it to my main tripod - and small!! It folds up so small I actually ended up extending one of the legs slightly to fit attach it onto my should bag :) This is going to be great when travelling as it will easily fit in my travel luggage.

There is a lot of different companies selling this same tripod and a lot of different models of it out there from the Q666C and upwards with the same pictures, so make sure you do your research in height and weight before you buy! Now down to the review. This is by far the best tripod I have ever bought considering I was caught buying alot of cheap ones thinking I was going to save money whereas they weren't up to the task. So if your looking for a tripod for you expensive DSLR, DONT skimp on a cheap tripod as you will save money in the long run. This tripod is small, light and strong, its hold my Nikon D7100 with a battery grip and either my Sigma 10-20mm lens, or my Tamron 24-70mm and with my camera bag attached to the hook on the main pole, also my Sigma 70-200mm lens. The screw off leg for use as a Monopod is a great advantage as I use this alot. The tripod can go low to the ground for those near death experiences with waves lol, Note: Be prepared to clean it well when you get home as the sand hampers the legs from unfolding smoothly. The ball head works well too and holds my camera and 70-200mm lens no problem. So to wrap it up. WELL WORTH THE MONEY IN MY OPINION 10/10

This tripod truly is great. It is very nicely build. It holds my Nikon D5200 and tamron 70-300 VC and flash light perfectly fine. No slag or shakes at all. The ball head is very soft and smooth. I love the feature of it becoming monopod. It really is worth and a great alternative for pro expensive tripods in market. I will I had this one before. Recommended completely and delivery time was just 1 day.

This compares well with my other Giottos carbon fibre tripod. This QZSD Q999C Pro is lighter and compacts smaller and will easily fit in my rucksack. It is not as rigid as the Giottos and this will be because the QZSD uses smaller diameter carbon fibre tubing. I have used it as the fully extended support for my dslr complete with battery grip and pano bracket plus medium weight mid focal length lenses in mild breezes and my loaded rucksack dangling from the centre column and I got very good results even with long exposures. It will be ideal when I need small and light weight as the main factors. If I need the assurance of extra rigidity the Giottos will be accompanying me but at the cost of more bulk and weight. The Giottos was very difficult to pack into a "hand luggage" sized bag when travelling on a plane, however the QZSD Q999C Pro is a breeze.
