Few things ruin the perfect summer evening more than a swarm of pesky flying insects. This solar powered bug zapper will improve this situations. It attracts flies, mosquitoes and other flying insects by the ultraviolet light from an UV LED. There are two power ways: a rechargeable lithium battery which store the power by absorbing the sun's rays or two AA batteries. More, a bright LED can provide illumination or act as a backup light. 

Features:
With an ultraviolet lamp which emitting 365nm wavelength at the center, it attracts flies, mosquitoes and other flying insects, and its electric field then instantly zaps them.
An easy and clean solution for bug removal via the detachable basket. 
A 2V 60mA poly-crystalline silicon solar panel is embedded in the upper cap for absorbing the sun's ray and stores them as energy for powering.
Two power ways: Powered by a rechargeable lithium battery or two AA batteries.
Light control: The light sensor automatically turns the zapper on at dusk and off at dawn.
Another bright LED with 20lm there can provide bright illumination for your outdoor activities.
No chemical produced, environmental-friendly.

    Bought this item for use in my garden. Solar powered because can easily get 8-10 hrs of sunshine most days. Pros:- Design is quite good - easy to dismantle the various components as well as looks good & light weight- The LED light is quite bright, sufficient to view immediate vicinity.- UV light is also bright enough to attract the mosquito and bugs.- Wire grid gets pretty hot - accidentally touched it and got slight burn.Cons:- The generic rechargeable battery 2 x AA NiMh battery of 600mAh does not hold charge very well despite 8-10 hours of sun, it discharged within 1 hour in the UV light mode. Only after using a Battery Charger to give it a full charge was it able to operate the UV light for more than 2 hours.I had to purchase new rechargable 2 x AA (GP brand) NiMH batteries of 1000 mAh as replacement and now i am getting better performance from the Bug Zapper. Full charge after 8-10 hours of sunshine and 6-8 hours of operation in the UV Light mode daily. Have to remove bug carcass daily with a toothbrush.Delivery was fast - ordered on 23 Jul - item arrived 27 Jul - faster than scheduled delivery.Would have given higher rating if the batteries provided were of better quality vis a vis the price.
