Pros: They look nice enough for a Christmas tree, I don't think it's "boring" for just purple. The packaging doesn't say if these are safe for outdoor use, though. I will cover the little box that sets the lighting pattern with plastic to keep moisture out, just to be safe.
Cons: hope it will be safe for the low price.
Bottomline: Like these lights very much. they are the hit for the party; very romantic. recommend!!
