I just received it. it shots the omdem10, but as you connect cable to camera you loose the image both in display & viewfinder! somebody knows why?

  • i have not had that issue. i have used it with em10ii and epm2. look at setting (gears) Display (should be the D) check usb mode set to auto. Only other thing could be a bad connector.

      Great for its purpose as remote shutter. But slightly bulky and no place to hang receiver off the camera. I leave it resting on the camera strap. I used it with Olympus PEN E-PL5

      Apparently I ordered this direct from China and it was MUCH cheaper than Tomtop's price, which is heavily discounted off "list price." I couldn't believe how nifty and reliable it is! The only trouble is you connect it through the proprietary Olympus USB jack and I have the Really Right Stuff L-bracket attached which must be removed to get at the jack. That is a problem, since I won't be able to set the camera up on the tripod in portrait mode. Oh, well, I still like it. Too bad it can't get its connection through the hot shoe.
