On my a6300 - "Bulb" is only available when the camera is set to "M" or manual settings. You would definitely need to have your A58 mounted on a sturdy tripod to use this setting. The wireless remote would be a great way to actuate the shutter so that there would be no camera movement which would spoil the time exposure. see less

They do have a model of this wireless remote made specifically for your Nikon. VILTORX JY-120-N3 wireless remote shutter release Transmitter Receiver for Nikon D7200 D7100 D5500 D7000 D90 D5300 D5200 D5100 D3300 D3200 D3100 D600 D610 by VILTROX..so maybe not compatible but an equal is available.
