It is worth it ! Product is as describe. I bought this to record my front door and yard, and the HD video is really good. Don't buy the 960H version, not worth it, 720P is perfect. My only complaint i have is that the fan in the dvr is loud, i read in other reviews that this can be replace, but it is really not a big deal.

I have owned many security systems in the past for my properties and I have to say that I love this one the most by far. It is extremely reliable as the cameras are connected thru a wire so there is no drop in signal or images. It is also connected to my phone so that I can see what is going on at all time when I am away. I would definitely recommend this system to anyone who is looking for a quality system that will do the job the way you want it to be done.

Great product and great service! I was having some challenges with the remote web access but called support and was connected to Walter within about 30 seconds. I was actually surprised that they answered that quickly. He walked me through some changes and got everything working properly. I rely on customer reviews like this when making a purchase and purchased this product because it had good reviews overall. I am not disappointed.

I needed to upgrade my present surveillance system, which I had for 4 years. I waited a long time and was searching all the time for the right mix of price and features. Just wasn't happy with what was out there. I purchased this and installed it, and I must say I have been very happy with the results. Everything is easy, and I didn't even have to run new cables. Packaging is also great. The wide-view cameras are a great plus, covering a lot more area than previous cameras. I now have overlapping coverage, which is fantastic.Support is great too. Speedy response. I have since purchased 2 more 8-cam units for other locations.Highly recommended.

high quality video feed. simple hook ups. the only thing we had minimal trouble with was figuring out the app to watch via our smart phone. Shipping was a pain but was no fault of the shipper. UPS delivered the package to a house a few streets over from my house. I was home with the window blinds open waiting for the package and never saw a UPS truck. A person who identified herself as a supervisor claimed to "Put a trace" on the truck and stated that the truck was on my street when the package was delivered. Amazon was contacted when no ground was made with UPS and after some approval Amazon began to ship a new set to me at no charge. That afternoon the family that had received my package dropped it off at my house and I canceled the replacement.

Benjamin Ward answered my call this morning to the Amcrest tech support line. His patience with my questions was outstanding. After the call I now feel I have a much better understanding of how the Amcrest products work. Our system was installed only a few days ago. The manual is very complete, but a little too complete for someone like me who doesn't like to read instructions. Thankfully Amcrest has someone like Benjamin on staff. He went above and beyond the call of duty to satisfy all of our questions. So far we are very satisfied with the Amcrest products, service and our installer too, Jonathan Balmos, was equally as customer service oriented and supportive.

I bought it, because I wanted to prevent housebrakings, so I mounted the cameras outside the house. And even after a few month they just work fine, even if there was a lot of snow and rain! Very practical is the possibility to have remote view from smartphones and PC's. And even the software is very good!

Camera kit was a snap to install and the clarity was better than expected. Great value for the price. Does not come with a remote though which was disappointing. I needed to contact customer service recently about my password being lost. Ashley Richardson was excellent to work with and got me up and running in a few minutes. Good customer service is everything.
