I am not sure, but it does work with both my Samsung galaxy s5 and my asus tf101 tablet. Pretty nice but a bit small for my hands.

It works great for that, only issue it will turn off itself after few minutes to save battery if inactive, it will not reconnect automatically like any other Bluetooth remote controller, you actually have to hold power button for few seconds then wait like 20 second while this controller go through steps of connecting to your phone and then you can skip to the next song. Few days ago I was listening iTunes at my work while I had meeting with some important clients and song came on much louder then usual and with a lot of F.... Bombs. Since I keep my phone locked away due to our office policy no phones in office with cameras for clients privacy I grab my controller to skip song or pause it. Imagine how embarrassing it was listings for 20 seconds F.... this and F.... that while this Bluetooth controller trying to connect to my iPhone, and did I mention my big boss happened to attend this meeting? It will be years before my coworkers will let it go and stop laughing how I was turning 50 shades of red while waiting for Bluetooth controller to switch song. see less

It slides , so I think it's 8 directions but I'm not sure. honestly I only played one game with it. I use it primarily as a remote shutter button.
